This us the perfect clock if you have to be awake at a certain time, it will make you up! It's loud but not so loud it hurts your ears, easy to set and if power goes out it doesn't matter it uses only batteries, very reliable.,not a smart device but the smartest clock ever! And great price! I wont use any other device. Great price.

Amazing. I accidentally ordered this, thinking it was a WIND UP clock. No batteries. BUT it has been almost a month since I revived it. The clock is keeping time perfectly. AND the alarm setting is used several times a week (as backup to my cellphone when weather is incoming)…. ON THE SAME DOUBLE AA BATTERY! Fantastic purchase.

Finally, a solution for moms of teenage kids everywhere! My son absolutely hates this alarm — which means it works perfectly! He's an incredibly heavy sleeper and almost never wakes up on his own, but this clock changed everything. We've tried it all: fancy alarms with sunrise lights, ones that play music, even those that shake the mattress — nothing worked. But this simple, old-school design did the trick. I got this as a gift, for my oldest. She is young, and has a decent routine that she partakes in, daily. She wants to wake up on her own everyday, and I think this analog clock will help her to continue getting better at telling time, as she is still learning how to do so. Overall, a great little gift. Made her very happy! She loves it. It works well, easy to turn the dial and change the alarm settings, and the time. The sound is great, good amount of loudness.

I wish they had more designs than boring old metal, but it works, and it doesn't give me an electrosmog headache like the digital ones! Good for anyone who just wants a good, old-fashioned clock.

It's nice to get all electronics out of the bedroom, especially for the little ones. It's pretty, and it's loud. The way an alarm clock is supposed to be! Simple to set, simple to use.

Very hard sleeper here, and this is the only alarm clock that has consistently been able to wake me up. It's loud, easy to use, affordable, and does exactly what it's intended to do. To note: 1. No AM/PM indicator, so if the alarm is left on it will go off at both the set morning and evening time. 2. It shakes quite a bit when ringing, which has caused it to fall off my nightstand and eventually stop working after a few drops.

I have to take medication twice a day, exactly 12 hours apart. This clock will definitely wake you. It is loud and annoying. However, I am on my third one! Wore out the first. My fault on the second, it slipped out of my hand. Third one, with a different annoying noise. Day Two it vibrated so hard when ringing that it shimmied (sp?) across my end table (about 6") and felt to the floor. Kept ringing though. I put a candle in a glass bowl about 6" in diameter in front of it. It will vibrate hard enough to hit the candle holder and then start heading around it to ultimately fall to the floor if I don't get up and catch quickly enough. AND, strange, but with the alarm sitting EXACTLY on an hour marker, it will always ring a couple minutes late. I don't get it.

I've purchased 2 9f these. both were loud at first then within a couple months the little ringing mechanism at the top of the clock stopped "dinging" as loudly. now it sounds muted when the alarm sounds, like the clock is muffled under a towel or something. both clocks did this. neither has fallen or been damaged. changed the batteries in both- didn't help. it's weird and unfortunate because it seemed like such a great purchase at first.
