I have a very hard time waking up and as long as this clock is under your pillow or close to your head it works great. My dad cannot feel or here it so he got the atomic vibrating clock which is great for him. That clock was too intense for me so this one is perfect. I also like this item because you can take it anywhere.
This is just what I was looking for! I have to get up for work; but, don't want to wake my baby. I put it in my pillow %26 it wakes me up.
it was exactly as expected 👍
A decent option to get away from using a phone for everything, but not investing in a large alarm clock. I had a "Shake Awake" alarm clock 20 years ago, but it stopped working. This one is a reasonable replacement. It doesn't bother me under my pillow and mostly doesn't bother my husband. The one negative about this is that if you hit the very large SNOOZE button, and then decide you're getting up, and turn OFF the alarm: it will continue to go off every five minutes (requiring you to hit the snooze button) for a few more times. If you're getting up, you better turn it OFF without hitting the snooze. The problem is that the snooze button is VERY LARGE and easy to hit. This is a confirmed feature of the clock, as I wrote to their customer service. (Very responsive and nice.)
The alarm was easy to set; the clock was easy to read in the night. My problem is due to my inability to hear in the night without my hearing aids, the vibration was not strong enough to wake me if I was sound asleep. Otherwise, it would be good for most people.
This item is not a strong shaker as described to be a solution for deep sleepers
The black text on the very bright blue background is hard to read in the dark when waking up. The switches on the back to enable/disable the alarm and set the alarm time are cheap and can get stuck in between settings. The vibration is stronger than a similar item from another brand, which I had slept through multiple times. Apparently when I snooze for longer than an hour, the alarm just turns off until the next day, so beware of that. No indicator for AM hours, but there is a PM indicator.
Volume excellent Unable to "set" reliably Should have returned it Maybe mine is defective Worthless to me this way
can't feel the vibration at all even under a thin pillow and the alarm noise to almost silent under a pillow
The vibrate didn't work
