Sharper Image® Halo Drone – Remote Control Light-Up Orbiter

Specs say 1h of fly time. I assumed that meant 1 hour. I got probably 15 minutes each time on a full charge. That would have been fine if I was enjoying those 15 minutes. I baught it for my 8yo daughter. I chose to charge it and test it out for her to make sure she'd be able to get the hang of it. She's not very patient. I'm glad I did because it was hard figuring out the controls at first. Then trying to get the "trim" corrected before it crashed was next to impossible. Once it bumped something, it would crash and you'd have to start all over. Then before you succeeded you'd have to charge it again. I did this process 3 times and gave up. I have repackaged it to return to the store. I would suggest spending a little extra and getting a better unit.

Great Drone for Kids! I bought the Shaper Image Halo Drone for my grandson, and he absolutely loves it. It's easy for him to control, very fun to fly, and keeps him entertained for hours. The lights make it even more exciting, and it's held up well to lots of use. This was a great purchase and a big hit—highly recommend for kids who enjoy drones and hands-on fun!

my 8yr old grandson got it to do flips and fly sideways... climbealls and twist all lit up so cool. but one time it went down hard and it snapped the frame.

I was very hopeful for this product, but the lights stopped working after just one use. very disappointed.

A fun drone to fly with very nice lights

Works great kids loved it

I really wanted a different color too, but your sale only included one color.

Loved the product. Battery back-up considering the size and price is appropriate. Extra propeller blades provided in the pack for replacement if damaged. I use it indoors, outdoors only when not windy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sharper image drone is a very fun toy for children and adults. Once you get a hang of learning how to use it is pretty simple. The colors are very bright and make it great for nighttime use. The range it can fly is quite a few feet high and away from the remote, which is good for when you have little ones around, trying to grab it since the propeller blades are very sharp. Once it's charged, it does only last a few minutes and the only drawback is it barely gives you a low battery warning it beeps few times and then just falls from the sky.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sharper Image Drone Halo LED 5-inch is super fast and really fun to fly! The drone itself is very durable – my 7-year-old and I had trouble learning to control it at first, and it fell many times, but it never broke. The battery holds up well, and charging is easy via the included USB cable. The controller uses regular AA batteries, which is convenient. I would recommend this drone for kids 8 and older because it's very fast and could be a bit dangerous for younger children. My 7-year-old is still really happy with it and enjoys flying it under supervision. The LED lights are bright, the drone is portable, and the range is decent for backyard flying. Overall, it's a tough, fast, and fun drone that gives great value for the price.
