I'm not sure that desktop fan is the right description because it is a little bigger and way more powerful than I would personally consider a desktop fan, and that is a good thing! The back "leg" is weighted, which makes it nice and secure from tipping over. If you are going to be impressed with a little fan..this is the one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent little fan. Instead of me turning on my ac during the spring. I have been using this fan in my bedroom. It actually blows out very cool air. It is quiet but does make noise. It has 3 setting. I use high during the day and low at night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect fan to sit on my nightstand that keeps me cool at night, it's just enough cool air that blows as it circles around and not a steady constant blowing directly in my face that may cause stiffiness, it's going to perfect for the summer when upstairs is hotter than the rest of the house but I will be able to keep cool and sleep great!!!

This fan is so quiet, and so well designed it's a very nice looking piece. I'm sure I'll use it in the summer in my office, I really love this fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little 10 inch oscillating fan is everything I needed and more! I wasn't sure how helpful it would be with it being so small, but it has out-performed my expectations by a long shot! You can move the fan part up and down in order to get just the right angle. It has three speeds,low medium and high. You just tap the power button to cycle through them. Tapping the power button 4 times will turn it off, you can also hold down the power button to power it down. It has a stay put and an oscillating option! This little fan is really powerful and can even cool down a large room! It is medium weight, so it is sturdy and wont get knocked over easily. It really is the perfect little fan and I am very, very happy with it!

I have an issue with noises keeping me awake and I don't even know this is on. In fact I will come back in the bedroom and realize I left it on. Great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the size of this fan. It is built well, plenty sturdy. With 2 kids in the house, spills happen pretty often. We have used this fan several time after we have cleaned up a drink spill. You can place it almost anywhere and not have to worry about it tipping over. I think for a small, powerful fan, that it is quiet!.
