Sharper Image Toy RC Aeroboost Racing Drone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so excited and when I got this out of the box, the fun started it up a little bit. The USB put in the batteries in the remote and I was off to the races took a little bit to get used to but all in all it's pretty easy to get used to. I was off and find another time I didn't have much experience at all the flying drones before this. In fact, the only life experience I had, didn't go so well at this time. Yeah, it was great time and I didn't have any problems.

This drone is a good size for kids allowing them to be responsible and have fun. The LED lights make it fun and easy to see. The auto pilot feature is good to be able to watch and enjoy it.

It was easy for us to learn how to fly and even though there was a light breeze outside it was easy to control. We did lose one of the propellors. It flew off so fast into the grass and we couldn't find but they had many extras in the box so super easy to fix.

Fun for around the house. Light weight. It is toy quality, I don't expect it to last but I would recommend for the experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't know what to expect for this drone since it's my first one. Take my thoughts with a grain of salt I guess? First, it was very difficult to unpack. Zipties, tape, and molded plastic hold the drone in its toy style box. Getting it free, I noticed how light and flimsy it felt. Which makes sense, it does have to fly after all. But, I also notices one of the plastic grating pieces had broke during unpacking. So, perhaps to flimsy. Flying it was certainly a challenge. If this is your first drone, I guarantee it will be for you too! After some learning curve, I will confess it is very fun to use. This particular model boast five hours of fly time per charge and a max altitude of 45 feet. So I concur that it is built for racing as advertised. All in all, I enjoy it. And while it felt advanced for a first timer, I know that this has to be more entry level due to the lack of camera and travel distance. Not bad for a young aviator though!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At the price point of this drone i truly expected a better product. The battery life is halfway decent but the pros stop there. The drone is made of thin and brittle plastic and takes on damage very very easily. For something had is advertised for the older kid crowd this shouldn't break as easy. I get get needed to make it light weight but dont cut corners where its critical. It isn't the most controllable drone I've flown either. Overall I'm not very satisfied with this product
