These markers are not for beginners. Probably ages 7 and up. (Especially the ultra fine tip markers. Pressing too hard will break the tips off.)But for artists with some experience. Makes a wonderful starter set for poster art or freehand artwork. These markers do not fade. I've had my first set for over 4 yrs. This set was a gift to a talented family member. Theirs were "misplaced" during a move several years ago, and haven't been located.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many colors to choose from! Ranging from basic to off- colors to metallics... that was a nice surprise- I didn't realize metallics were included in this package! I loooooooooooooooove this set!

Sharpie permanent markers have a somewhat strong alcohol scent, as it typically for permanent markers. They dry very quickly within 5 seconds. The tip is firm yet smooth, so there is no need to apply much pressure when writing, the marker body is lightweight providing a sense of total control. There are many varieties of these markers available, distinguished by their color and tip type.

Sharpie markers are my favorite. These are the reasons why.

Love Sharpie markers. As an art teacher I use them all the time with students. The only issue with this collection is the ultra fine markers. They quickly become unusable. Wish the whole box was the fine tip.

Package contains 71 markers....NOT 72 as advertised. Would return and request a replacement but they were needed immediately for a time sensitive project delivery.
