Fabric is medium weight dark purple and its polyester. it does ravel on edges.

One way stretch only. Very resilient.
I was looking for a fabric that was waterproof and stretchy. Spandex would be too lightweight and thin, this stuff is NOT spandex! It's much more durable. Doesn't snag or tear!
