Shason Textile Pro Tuff Outdoor Fabric, Black. (By The Yard)

the heavy, vinyl like fabric will have many uses in my shop. I have purchased from shason textiles before and have almost always been satisfied with the result

This material is excellent. It's perfect for lining tote bags for grocery shopping to prevent spillage and other things from entering into the bag. Great value would purchase again.

Like other reviewers, I wish my 15 yards had come in a continuous bolt so I could cut it where I needed it cut. But it worked out well despite coming in three pieces. And the material is fabulous -- exactly what I needed to cover the tables in our produce stand. No more of that light-weight stuff that you can see through and that tears the minute you slide a box across it. I've been wiping this material down each morning with a soapy rag and it comes clean beautifully. Great product -- outstanding price!

Made shades for my camper van and needed a cheap black cloth to face outward to glue to my eva foam. Spent a while looking through hobby and fabric stores and didn't really find much I liked and everything was $5-$7 per yard. So when I found this and read a few reviews I figured I'd give it a shot. I have to say, I'm very impressed. Ordered 5 yards and it comes all in one piece. The fabric is a nice thick outdoor canvas like material on one side and plastic like on the other. It works great to block out light too. Anywhere I didn't cut the foam quite right and left a gap, I just layered on a bit extra cloth and it blacks it out. The plastic like back side of this cloth required a lot more spray glue than regular cloth like cotton but I got it to work alright. since it was so thick it was easy to lay down without wrinkles.

Ordered twice. First time I ordered 3. It came in 1 continuous piece but they shorted me about 2ft. Luckily that 2ft was extra and for the price I just counted it as a loss not worth pursuing. It came on a short, square bolt but had a crease down the middle, 2 weeks later The crease is still visible. The 2nd time I ordered 6. Also came in 1 continuous piece and was the correct length. This piece came folded up in a square with the same crease. It does have the coating on the back and was very easy to sew. I sewed it by hand and had no problems getting the needle through except on the corners of the pillows where I was going through 4 layers. I cannot comment on the fade resistance yet, but again, at this price if I have to recover in a couple few years it's still worth it. I will order again.

Good waterproof outdoor fabric. Strong chemical smell, so I normally leave out on a clothes line for several days to air out. Fabric seems somewhere in the 300-400 denier weight. Not breathable, so best for bags, tarps, patching, pockets etc. Far and away the best price on a quality product. Made one cover for a grill which is holding up well to sun and weather.

like using this for lining for the bags I make. dislike ordering it online. it almost always arrives dirty. and wrinkled

The material is waterproof however it is thinner than other materials I have used I hope it stands up to the weather

I had to wait some time for it to become available, and I don't like the way it's shipped (folded many times) since it's hard to iron lines out on this kind of fabric. But otherwise, it's good.

I am so mad. I bought this fabric and spent money to have my outdoor furniture cushions redone. It has been less than a month and this fabric is ridiculously faded. It looks terrible. Now I have to start all over. Picture shows the pillow that was finished before bottom part of coach. Look at how horrible it looks with sun fading.
