Shason Textile Pro Tuff Outdoor Fabric, Grey. (By The Yard)

I used this fabric in conjunction with clear vinyl and it looks and functions very well. It was very simple to trim/cut and sew with a standard sewing machine and no special needle required. The fabric has an almost canvas like feel to the front facing side and a PVC like coating on the back making it waterproof without needing to apply any waterproof spray. No smell/odor, folds up without crease or damage and durable. Over the years the color will fade but that is expected. Highly recommend for projects.

Very good value and quality! I am recovering my deck cushions and have been looking for outdoor fabric for well over 2 years! Because colors don't always show well on screen, I only ordered 2 yards to start! I'm so glad I did! The color is not what I envisioned so I decided to go bold and ordered 20 yards of red! I will review it after it arrives!

the heavy, vinyl like fabric will have many uses in my shop. I have purchased from shason textiles before and have almost always been satisfied with the result

Made shades for my camper van and needed a cheap black cloth to face outward to glue to my eva foam. Spent a while looking through hobby and fabric stores and didn't really find much I liked and everything was $5-$7 per yard. So when I found this and read a few reviews I figured I'd give it a shot. I have to say, I'm very impressed. Ordered 5 yards and it comes all in one piece. The fabric is a nice thick outdoor canvas like material on one side and plastic like on the other. It works great to block out light too. Anywhere I didn't cut the foam quite right and left a gap, I just layered on a bit extra cloth and it blacks it out. The plastic like back side of this cloth required a lot more spray glue than regular cloth like cotton but I got it to work alright. since it was so thick it was easy to lay down without wrinkles.

Like other reviewers, I wish my 15 yards had come in a continuous bolt so I could cut it where I needed it cut. But it worked out well despite coming in three pieces. And the material is fabulous -- exactly what I needed to cover the tables in our produce stand. No more of that light-weight stuff that you can see through and that tears the minute you slide a box across it. I've been wiping this material down each morning with a soapy rag and it comes clean beautifully. Great product -- outstanding price!

Ordered twice. First time I ordered 3. It came in 1 continuous piece but they shorted me about 2ft. Luckily that 2ft was extra and for the price I just counted it as a loss not worth pursuing. It came on a short, square bolt but had a crease down the middle, 2 weeks later The crease is still visible. The 2nd time I ordered 6. Also came in 1 continuous piece and was the correct length. This piece came folded up in a square with the same crease. It does have the coating on the back and was very easy to sew. I sewed it by hand and had no problems getting the needle through except on the corners of the pillows where I was going through 4 layers. I cannot comment on the fade resistance yet, but again, at this price if I have to recover in a couple few years it's still worth it. I will order again.

This fabric is just what I was looking for to redo our rv dinette cushions (deserves 5 stars). The shipping however leaves a lot to be desired (1 STAR!!). The fabric pieces ordered ( I got 12 yards) are cut and folded multiple multiple times to be able to ship as flat as possible, leaving many marked creases in the vinyl lining (underside) of the fabric that cause discoloration on the top side of the fabric. Walmart needs a better system to ship (on the bolt) to avoid all of those marks. Not sure if will keep or return yet, specifically because of the crease marks.

The fabric faded so fast, I couldn't even order more faster than the fabric I had already reupholstered faded. I am so disappointed and it was definitely a waste of money.

Item was filthy has black stains , all over the material. Looks like it was drug through a parking lot. Has several black dots, unsure if it is black mold or mildew. Waste of money it is going straight into trash can.

I am so mad. I bought this fabric and spent money to have my outdoor furniture cushions redone. It has been less than a month and this fabric is ridiculously faded. It looks terrible. Now I have to start all over. Picture shows the pillow that was finished before bottom part of coach. Look at how horrible it looks with sun fading.
