I use this to line my vest that I made. and this color was perfect. and I only needed a small amount. and it was so convenient for them to ship it to me. I.e deliver. for the convenience and the price you can't do any better. unless you find it at a resale shop or something like that....
Red costume fabric needed to repair 30 yr old child’s Halloween costume %26 it did the job. Great price, lightweight fabric, color held when washed. Four red inserts each were replaced in both sleeves and the cape is new.
I alway have a length of this on hand. It’s versatile. I use it for so many things. Lining satin sleep caps, inside of my tote bags and wristlets, pillowcases, pajamas. There are so many colors to choose from. The quality is fantastic and you get a lot for the money but it won’t belong before I’m getting 2 more yards.
Excellent for lining garments, simple structured pieces (like capes or sashes), and decorative items (table runners, backdrops).
Made a dress with this fabric it looked great
The color was nice enough. The fabric was kind of flimsy. I had to add interfacing to the back of the fabric to create a better structure. The precut piece was lopsided and off-grain.
This is the thinnest, flimsiest material I’ve ever purchased. It just falls apart. I’m very disappointed because it was not that inexpensive, and I just needed fabric quickly. It completely fell apart, though and was a waste of money.
Label says 2 yards, but I was could barely get 1 yard on the fold. When I opened the fabric to lay it out, the ENTIRE piece was cut at a weird diagonal! It was very frayed and off-grain. IT WAS HORRIBLE. The fiber content of the fabric was flimsy and weak. I had to interface the back of the satin just to get some structure. I was a disappointing experience.
Absolutely horrible! I had to use this in an emergency because I didn't have the fabric that i normally use %26 couldn't get it in time. Well, this fabric is supposed to be 2 yd cuts - it not. I only needed 5 yds %26 bought what was supposed to be 8 yds. %231. On avg. each package was between 1yd, 33-35". never a full 2 yds. %232. The fabric was cut so crooked that after straightening the ends I then ended up with around 1yd-25-30". %233. It no where near 60" wide. Only 58" which includes a very crooked 1/2" to 1" selvedge. 4. It's very thin %26 frays very easily. Strikes me as being more like lining fabric than the cheapest costume satin fabric I've ever used. 5. It's a very sensitive fabric %26 it really needs to be treated with fray check before sewing - but I didn't have time for that %26 suffered the consequences. 6. I make a mistake which should have been covered by the "extra yardage" that should have been left over all of the 2 extra yards that I bought but no. I had to order online to have it delivered while I kept sewing. Well, the site only allowed me to order in a two pack. Guess what? It's good that I got the two pack because the first of the two had a large black stain %26 was way short so I had to use both. I ended up purchasing/paying for "12yds" (which I didn't truly get ) to complete a 5yard project. DON"T BUY THIS!!!! You will regret it.
Ordered the black and turquoise. Turquoise was already bad, but this one is cut do crooked, it’s missing 4 inches!!!! Cannot recommend!!
