When I read that this was a unisex fragrance I had my doubts. I was sure it was going to be far too sweet or floral with little to no masculine overtones. Well I was completely wrong as the citrus and woodsy notes are appealing to both sexes, a man will feel very comfortable wearing this fragrance. Let me say that I had no idea who Shawn Mendes is so if I used that as my reason to purchase this fragrance, I would not have chosen to receive this product to use but I took a chance and i am glad I did. The packaging is high end...I would almost say it lends itself more to a man that a woman...just saying. The bottle is very contemporary looking with the glass bottle having a slight blue green tint to it and the top is a coppery look. The 1oz size makes it ideal to pack in your travel on luggage. The proof of the pudding though is in the fragrance itself and I was pleasantly surprised at the response I received when I wore it. What else I like about it is the fragrance lasts and lasts. This is a product that I will purchae again as well as give as a gift. You will not be disappointed in this fragrance

Wow this parfum spray has the best smell. It's for Women and men. (unisex) I am a 62 yr old woman and I love it. The smell is hard to explain but no matter who you are you're going to love it. The fragrance stays on you until you wash it off. Shawn Mendes did a great job in selecting the ingredients that is added into this superb fragrance . I want to say it's not a cheap smelling perfume, it has that smell like you paid a lot of money for it. This bottle is 1.0 fluid oz. The bottle is cool looking and has a guitar string wrapped around the cap, for a nice added touch. Shawn Mendes is a singer /songwriter. Just because his face is on the box does not mean its for guys only. not at all. This is his signature perfume that takes you right into the 2020's . It will be around for a long time. I wasn't too sure about this fragrance, because it is for both women and men. I had never had a scent before that was suitable for both that I have really liked. But I am so glad I tried this scent, as it is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! This scent just draws you in, as it is such a personal fragrance, it really is nice. It is a perfect blend of many smells, fresh citrus and radiant woody florals, and it has a touch of native maple, and I think maybe a little musk in there too, I am not sure about that, but I think so. It's really a subtle and low key scent, not over powering at all. Shawn Mendes, as you know is a singer and songwriter and for him to signature this fragrance, in my opinion, is really great as it can do nothing but good for him. I have tried many fragrances in my lifetime, but never have I tried a scent that is good for both women and men that is so compelling as this one is. I was grocery shopping one day, and someone passed by me and came back and asked me what scent I was wearing, and I told them. They said "hmmm, I like it, I think I wanna get me some". It really uplifts your spirit, is how I can say it best...just makes you feel so good. And when you feel good, you do good is how my hubby says it, and he is right! Try it, I did! And I am so happy that I did. My hubby is using it too, as he just really loves the smell! I would definitely recommend this fragrance to all of my friends, male and female as well as all my family.

I enjoy trying different fragrances and this is a really wonderful scent! This is an eau de parfum spray which is made for both women and men. It comes in a very nice bottle, with the top wrapped in what looks like copper coil. It's a very attractive container, which will appeal to a man or a woman. When I sprayed this fragrance, for the first time, my initial thought was "fresh". It is a very fresh scent, which I love. There is also a bit of sweetness, to it, a bit of floral.....but not overpowering. Then I get some lemon and a bit of musk, a very nice earthiness. After spraying, it lasts for hours, before needing to re-apply. I like this fragrance so much and will definitely be wearing it! I think it would be nice, for a man, as well. I would highly recommend it, to others!

I received the Shawn Mendes Signature Eau de parfum spray to give my honest opinion. Personal I am not familiar with Shawn Mendes, I just thought I would try his parfum. Boy am I glad I did, this is without a doubt one of the best parfum that I have used in years. The smell is long lasting and is manly. This is the kind of parfum as a guy that you would wear on a date, going to the movies with that special girl. It is the parfum that you would wear to church. The smell is tantalizing. It is not overpowering, however, it is noticeable. It makes you smell like a professional man. As a guy, this is what you would wear if you want to impress the ladies. If you want to be remembered based on that special smell, then I would recommend you try the Shawn Mendes Signature Eau de parfum spray. Yesterday was the first time that I wore the Shawn Mendes Signature Eau de parfum spray. I took a bath a few minutes ago and did not even wear the Shawn Mendes spray and I can still smell it. I still smell good. I will definitely buy another Shawn Mendes Signature Eau de parfum spray in the future. You gotta try it!

I received this bottle of perfume from spark reviewer. it is of Shawn Mendes signature perfume. I did have to look him up to find he is a singer from Canada. It is a fragrance for both men and women. I do like the smell but truthfully I'm not sure why. Its just one of those scents that catches your scenes. It is something that I would get for friends and family. And especially for anyone who likes his music. It may not be the easiest to find but I think it is worth the effort for a friend that will like it

I am very particular about the fragrances I wear. I don't wear a scent just because it is the newest or has a big celebrity or designer name. I must LOVE it. As I opened the box this fragrance came in, I thought: "I have a 50/50 chance of liking this". Well, I LOVE it! I like sweet fragrances with a hint of wood, and this is it. The top notes are citrusy and fresh. The mid notes are sweet and sugary and the base notes are warm and woody. It's an interesting, complex scent that changes as you wear it. Within the first few hours of putting it on, I ran into a friend who said: "you smell good!" The bottle is very cool as well. It's a light green like seaglass and has a coppertone cap that is wrapped with a guitar string. I would say my first impression of the bottle design is more masculine than feminine. This scent is supposed to be androgynous. I think my perception of what is supposed to be a "masculine" scent has been shaped by the cosmetics/perfume industry. I always imagine men's fragrances as being one strong, fresh note like deodorant soap. One exception to this would be Obsession for Men which is sweeter; I've worn it before. Maybe this fragrance would interact with a man's chemistry differently than a woman's. I couldn't get hubby to try it, he doesn't wear fragrances.

I got this Shawn Mendes Signature Eau de Perfume because I was running out of what I normally buy not even knowing who Shawn Mendes is. It's not bad at all, but I feel it is more for men than women. It has the scent of floral, citrus and maple. I definitely smell the floral scents and maybe a little citrus. I do not smell any maple, though. (It could be because I am thinking of a maple syrup scent). The scent is strong at first for about 30 seconds but then smells softer and is very wearable. The lid had me confused at first on how to get it off. I tried to unravel the cord before realizing it was part of the decoration. The bottle is basically plain and easy to handle and the pump is easy to push to squirt. I would recommend it for either a man or a woman but for whatever reason it smells manlier to me.

A very different kind of scent. Hard to explain but it's fresh and bold. They say it's for men or women but all I know is that it smells great. I have been asked several times what I am wearing and I say clothes every time. Usually get that angered look but why give away my secret. Do I want everyone in the elevator to smell like me. Awesome gift idea for him or her you will not receive complaints.
