This lotion is light on the skin,a little goes a long way. It keeps my skin moist until the next time I wash my hands. Nice fragrance and no parabens or sulfates..not a lot of junk obsorbing in my skin, I really like that. It's hard to find in the Walmart where we shop. I would recommend.
I carry this size in my purse. It is great for dry winter skin and prevents the itching and cracking. I give this in give bags for my friends.
My husband and I both love this product! He has chemical induced dermatitis and this lotion helps keep it under control. I wish you carried it in the local store.
Very pleased with the product all natural ingredients without the need to pay a fortune for it. Walmart hits big selling this brand, great quality, affordable and the most important part organic. Great buy.
I have been using this lotion for about 3 years. It is silky and doesn't leave you feeling greasy. It smells wonderful too. Recently, I have had trouble dont it locally so I turned to the website. I was so happy to see it still available here. Please encourage brick and mortar stores to carry it again!! Thanks!
I tried Palmer's Raw Shea body lotion about a year ago and have been a loyal customer since then. Palmer's lotions are high quality lotions that really absorb well into my skin, do not leave behind a greasy feeling, and have a very light scent that smells clean and healthy. Even with all the hand washing I've been doing, Palmer's lotions keep my hands conditioned and so I have a bottle next to every sink in the house!
I really like this lotion. It is smooth and soothing. It never stings or burns even on chapped skin or skin with abrasions. This is the lotion I use mist of the time. It has a very pleasant smell. I like that the Shea Butter is responsibly sourced. I also like what is NOT in it. (like mineral oil, sulfates, parabens, phthalates, dyes) My only wish would be that the smoothing and softening would last longer. It does claim 24 hour moisture, and for me, it doesn't last nearly that ling. It has to be applied more often than some other lotions I have used. That is the only reason for 4 stars.
I have been using this brand for years. From cocoa, coconut to shea butter line. I'm extremely disappointed that the scent/fragrance has changed for the shea line (I now notice that it's called 'Raw Shea Nourish', don't know for sure if it's always been named like that). Apparently it now has a "creamy shea vanilla scent". It smells like a mainstream big brand body lotion, not the subtle scent anymore. If the other lines have changed their scents as well, I would be even more disappointed
I have lived by this lotion because it smelled so good. It went off the shelves for a very long time. Once I saw it was back? I bought the largest bottle! FAIL. When you first smell it, it smells normal. But once you apply, it has a strong almost rubber like smell. Disgustinggggggg. To the point I found an old bottle to compare the ingredients. They're identical but it has to be false because there's a drastic difference. Maybe there's more of a certain ingredient to stretch the product, but it's a no! …. PLEASE FIX!
Base of the formula is nice on the skin, maintaining moisture for hours. I didn't open it in the store to check fragrance, but once I tried it at home is absolutely gnarly. Probably I would have accepted it if it was cut by at least half. Then I read the label and I am not impressed! The first ingredient is soybean oil. With other ingredients like IPM, propylene glycol, PEG40 stearate, sodium metabisulfite, sodium sulfite, benzoyl benzoate, benzoyl salicylate, hexyl cinnamal and benzyl alcohol. You can obtain the same feel, same low cost with healthier ingredients. This lotion goes back. Sorry Palmer's.
