By far, this is my favorite lotion out of all the different ones I have used. Yes, it's very thick, but it spreads easily and absorbs completely into the skin. It doesn't leave you greasy feeling and actually feels very light once it soaks in. Helps a lot with my very dry skin, so that it actually feels moisturized. It should be in a pump bottle or jar though because it isn't easy to get out of the bottle. I'll probably be cutting it open, so I can put it in a different container. So, the lotion itself is 5 stars, but the packaging definitely needs improvement.
This is the best lotion hands down. I have bought $250 dollar lotions and this is better for less than $10! Smells very good and coconuty. Has all natural ingredients and keeps skin healthy and younger looking and so unbelievably soft! I LOVE all their products.
I have always loved the shea moisture brand and they did not disappoint. I love how it uses natural ingredients and actually works. In the winter I get really dry hands and dry skin in general. It works very well in moisturizing my skin. The scent is nice too. I would buy this again for sure.
Love this Product - It has helped my hands stay moist and it seems to help stop the purple marks when I hit my hands. Great Product - the only lotion that I buy. Have purchased several times.
I've been testing this Coconut & Hibiscus body lotion and it's become my favorite step after showering. The first thing you notice is the scent: it's sweet and tropical, but not overpowering; it smells like real summer. My skin is usually dry (especially on elbows and knees) and this cream leaves it soft all day long without leaving that sticky or "oily" feeling that other heavy creams have.
The lotion has a light scent so the coconut is not overpowering as I assumed it would be. My skin was very soft and remained moisturized long after I applied it. I am a fan of Shea Moisture products period but was skeptical of this particular scent of lotion. Price was reasonable considering it is normally anywhere from 10.00 to 12.00 per bottle depending on which retailer you purchase from.
This is more of a body butter than a lotion. Smells a little strong but very moisturizing. It's buttery and thick, so thick to where it's extremely hard to squeeze out of the bottle. I had to cut the bottle in half with a knife and scoop all of the product out into a jar because the bottle was getting dented from trying to get the lotion out. Even in the jar it's so thick when held upside down it doesn't come out. Please put this in a jar and not a bottle. If you want this product I'd highly advise cutting open the bottle and decanting into a jar.
I love all things coconut, especially body products. this lotion is so thick its very hard to squeeze out of the bottle. i added hemp oil to try to thin it but that didnt work. the fragrance isnt strong, either. i really wanted to like this product but i wouldnt buy it again
I give up. I used to buy this companies moisturizers all the time, they do such a good job of moisturizing the skin, really soft and not greasy. But lately Ive tried three different bottles from three different retail outlets and while it smelled nice at first, within a minute or two you start to smell spoiled oil smell.. I still use their shampoo and conditioner for my hair, but the moisturizers are all sour.
The ingredients listed online for this product are not the ingredients on the bottle itself. The addition of benzoic acid, unbeknownst to me, is a crime. It is highly allergic to some and should be made aware to your customers. I’ll say right now, I am not a customer. I tried, you failed.
