LOVE this product! The citrus scent is amazing! The consistency of the gel is thick but you don’t have to use much. Just a little bit through wet hair cork-screws my hair into soft, frizz-free curls. It makes my curls look defined and natural. I’d recommend this product to anyone who wants beautiful waves or curls.

I’ve been using the SheaMoisture Curl Defining Hairstyling Gel on my daughter’s curly hair, and it’s been a game-changer! She has thick, curly hair, and this gel does a great job of defining her curls without making them crunchy or stiff. The gel has a nice, smooth texture, and a little goes a long way. I love the Shea Moisture line. This purchase is the first for this particular product. I love the way it defines my curls. There's no flaking. A small amount is all it takes. In fact, using too much may give adverse effects. I recommend.

I’ve tried several other twist creams and had to come back to Shea Moisture. There was a name change but for the most part, the cream works the same. I have extremely dry hair and this cream helps moisturize, does not leave flakes, and lasts several days.

i like the size of container, the smell, and texture. the hold isnt bad, wish my hair wouldnt frizz up if i lay on it too long tho

It dried out my scalp, no moisture. Also when dried it does flake a bit (very tiny flakes but I can notice it). Zero hold. Only got this bc Cantù's gel was out of stock. It also has a plastic-like smell.

Don't recommended this product as the cream starts flaking as soon as the hair dries. The hold is really light. The smell is nice. But if you touch your hair the flakes starts flying around like you just opened a cupboard which has been closed for few months.
