SheaMoisture Matcha Green Tea & Probiotics Toner 4.5oz

I bought this as a Hail Mary when I was running out of my usual rose water toner. My skin is sensitive and prone to redness and rashes, and most toners leave me worst off. The long ingredient list had me wary, but my skin generally reacts well to green tea extract, so I figured it was worth a shot. I don't regret it, and I can never look back to my old toner. This was immediately soothing for my normally irritated skin, and there's a perceptible difference in redness after I use this. Moreover, the frequent breakouts of eczema and seborrheic dermatitis have disappeared entirely for me! I think the cultures present in the toner make a huge difference - yogurt masks have been the only thing to make this significant a difference for my complexion in the past. It also adds a much needed boost of hydration to my very dry skin, which can be nearly impossible to find in a toner. It is mildly more viscous than some toners, but not by much. It's basically the difference between water and 1 or 2% milk, and I've mostly noticed it when going to work into my skin with my fingers. It makes no difference to me, but texture is important to some people. The scent is very mild and earthy, similar to cracking open a tin of loose leaf sencha tea. As I'm also sensitive to most perfumes and some scents have caused flare ups for allergic reactions, I really enjoy how mild this is. Overall, I can't recommend this highly enough.

I struggle with reddened skin, and it is incredibly sensitive. I've had to switch my face routine So many times before finally coming across this gem and it's matching clay to cream cleanser. CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF BOTH. They're amazing. And what's great about this little beauty is it leaves my skin feeling fresh and slightly dooey without it feeling and looking oily and grossng like most creams I've used. My only issue is this product isn't sold ANYWHERE anymore! The cleanser is but not this wonderful misting spray, and it really saddens me because I want to buy this product in bulk! So please Shea Moisture Family, PUT THE PRODUCT ON THE MARKET AGAIN!!! Love always ❤️

This does leave my skin feeling sticky, and looking a little oily. But the toner part does work, so I only leave it on overnight as part of my skincare.

I wanted to love this product but as soon as I sprayed the toner into my face, it burned and my face turned beet red. I definitely was not expecting that to happen from a product that was designed to soothe. My face stayed red for a few hours and was warm. I do not recommend this to a person with sensitive skin.

I was so excited to try this line! The cleanser was great and the under eye cream- wonderful! I was hopping the toner would be perfect, too, since I have sensitive skin that tends to be red. However, after using it, my skin turned bright red and I felt a little burning sensation. It's also a little too heavy and made my face feel sticky. I washed it off with cool water as much as I could but unfortunately my face was still red the next day.

I have dry skin and was looking forward to trying this toner as it has natural ingredients and made to soothe. After spraying it my face and all places on my neck which I sprayed turned bright red and BURNED!! I tried washing it off but my face was still burning hours later. I've never experienced this with a product, especially when the product claims to reduce redness and be calming? I would not recommend this to anyone
