I know it's made for more textured hair, but it works really well on my thin stranded %26 only slightly wavy hair too. I have been using various Shea Moisture products on my hair for 10 years because I love how much healthier it keeps my hair. I found them when I started looking for Sulfate free (%26 free of the other things) hair care. Highly recommend.... even outside the target market like myself. 👍😁

Bought this for my boyfriend, and he really likes it. He says it leaves his hair feeling nice, soft, and hydrated. He has curly hair, and it seems to give him plenty of moisture without making his hair feel heavy. The pump bottle is convenient, and overall we're very happy with it. I can definitely see us buying it again.

I use this moisturizer on my thick coarse beard, and it seems to do the job. I really like the scent, but that's personal, some of you would not like it. I use it on my neck and cheeks also as I rub it into my beard, and it really keeps my face soft for my grandkids to play with. I am not black, but I think the moisturizers really work on course hairs no matter what nationality you are. I use the Gillette beard conditioner also and it has a wonderful cologne smell. But it is twice the price. Enjoy!

I did an online order so I couldnt smell it before buying. I felt kind of let down by the scent. It doesn't stink, it just doesn't smell as good as I assumed it would. Guess that's on me but it Works just fine. I bought it because it's much cheaper than the products geared towards women but double the size. I feel good about the value.

Solid great ingredients condtioner for curly hair of ANY gender. Must be a niche product line or marked down price for (i hope not) product discontinuation. its marketed as a "deep" conditoner but for my mostly type 3 low prosity hair, wasnt any noticeably additional mositurized feeling after washing it out. Still would want a weekly mask in rotation. it has decent slip but probably still want use some water to help ease detangling (limit breakage) with wide tooth comb. For the price of $7-8, as daily conditioner its hard to beat.

The smell is pretty nice, like a typical deep conditioner. I may not be leaving it in as much as I should but I just wish it had a little more to it. Otherwise perfect and obviously does a stronger working on your hair than regular shampoo. My hair is past my shoulders and I can definitely see the difference from this shea moisture versus my typical conditioner that goes in. I plan to keep buying it! It doesn't smell chemically at all

Smell before you buy! Maybe I got an off batch?? But this and the "Deep Conditioner" fragrance are nauseatingly SWEET, it's overpowering, like bubblegum and cotton candy. I hoped it would fade after a good rinse and different leave-in conditioner, but later my girlfriend said she wanted to chew on my hair (not in any good way.) I had to give it to my 6 year old niece. May not be "for men".
