ShelterLogic 16 x 16 ft Sand Shade Sail Square - Heavyweight (Attachment Point/Pole Not Included)

Excellent product. I live in Orlando, Florida. I originally purchased this sail 2 years ago to help cut down the heat. Our back yard has a lot of pavement and the summmer heat is to much for the plants and us. I now own a total of 5 sails in different colors. they hold up well. You can't go wrong. Thanks shelter logic!

I put the 12'x12' sail up on mounts that were about 16'x16'. I used heavy duty bungie straps, instead of the mounting hardware that came with the sail, to see how it would look. Turns out the bungie straps worked real well and pulled the sail real tight. I think I may leave it that way. I am really very happy with this product.

This is a great product and value. Comes with a good assortment of hardware. These were bought to replace and add to existing area . One of the originals wore thru the fabric (after 3 years) due to contact with hardware from rubbing. Be sure you have a plan layer out before you buy

We have 2 shade sails, the 16' and the 12' triangles over our back deck in Florida. They have held up well in the punishing sun, rain and wind. Just now replaced the 16' that's been in place for 14 years!

We used this to cover my husbands car from the hot sun & it works wonderful. We ordered a second one for our back patio so when the sun comes up we don't have to go inside because the sun is blinding us. I'm thinking of ordering another one to shade our chicken pen. These are a really great buy. The are well made.

I bought this to cover over a 10x10 gazebo. High winds had taken the top portion off but the metal sides were intact. I bought a 12x12 sun sail thinking I would have some extra material to bring over the sides of the gazebo. Nope. It is approximately 2" too short all around. It works as stated - easy up and down, if needed - good shade and very flexible. Not a nylon type material as it looks. Rather, it is a stretchy, plastic woven material. Overall, it does what it is supposed to. Just make sure to buy 2 sizes larger than you think you need!

The sun shade sail is well made. Material is high quality. The connections and hardware are good. Installation is fairly easy and straightforward. The main complained that I face is we get a lot of rain in Maine. The sail doesn't allow the rain water to pass through the material quickly enough so the added weight of the water stretches the material or the ropes that attach it to the post. So I need to keep to retighten them periodically.

Double check the size needed. Allow the extra space for the tension rods. I ordered a 12' x 12' which is the size of my deck. Should have ordered a 10' x 10'. When I went back to reorder the proper side none were available.

I still don't have my "ShelterLogic Sun Shade Sail" because I am still waiting for the hardware. We were so excited to set it up because my children have very fair skin and we couldn't! Called the company when we received it and i am still waiting for the hardware! Since then my daughter can only spend 30 minutes at a time in the pool because even with sun screen she starts getting red. I was excited and now I'm mad and upset because of lack of quality control!
