The mesh panels provide good ventilation, and it fits perfectly under airplane seats. Traveling with my pet has never been easier. Highly recommend!

I love how airy the carrier is, allowing great ventilation and ideally less stress. The size is great for larger cats like my boy. I also like how it has two openings, front and top, which is very handy! I love the cushioned pad too.

To start off it's made of a lightweight yet sturdy material that fully supports the weight of my 14lb cat with no sign of sagging. Theres a mesh top and side entry for easy loading and unloading. The inside padding has a removable liner that is machine washable, just in case there are any accidents while traveling. There are two different handle types, a removable shoulder strap as well as a handheld strap that separates with velcro to make the top entrance easier to use. The last feature I like is that there is a spacious storage pocket on the outside to hold things like paperwork or treats for your vet visits. All in all this is a really reliable carrier that I can see myself using for a good long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so excited about my new SHERPA Essential Pet Carrier! This is very high-quality with multiple entry points. I feel safe using this for my beloved pet. I chose the large which can carry up to 22 pounds. The dimensions on this are 10 1/2" x 18". My kitty cat is a little under 10 pounds but I want her to have enough room inside. It comes with a really nice thick, padded, removable fleece bottom mat and you have your choice of, short handheld straps along with a detachable long shoulder strap. The sides are solid and I think that's a good idea so pets feel secure and the front, top and back are breathable see thru mesh. This is just fabulous and the best pet carrier I've ever come across. I'm so excited about this! I'm going to feel more connected to my pet rather than just placing her in her usual plastic tote. I highly recommend this!

It zips on the top and on the side for dual easy access. There is a nice convenient pocket on the side for any vet records, etc. you may need. there is a nice Sherpa pad on the inside so it's soft and comfortable, but also easy to take out and wash.
