Awesome Chef Woo Shiitake Mushroom Ramen Bowl~~~~ These Chef Woo High Protein Ramen Cups are an awesome choice when you need a quick and delicious meal without any extra effort. The Shiitake Mushroom Chicken Ramen Noodles by Chef Ramsay flavor profile is seriously incredible, serving up a deeply rich, savory, and comforting taste. The texture of the noodles is perfect, keeping a great bite that makes it feel like a high-quality bowl instead of just a standard instant snack. It is an amazing option to throw together for lunch on a busy workday when you are short on time. Sometimes quick noodles can feel like a complete sodium bomb, but the balance here is awesome and lets the real mushroom and chicken flavors shine through. It is an incredibly convenient, foolproof staple to keep stocked in your kitchen. I highly recommend picking up a few of these!
It's frustrating trying to buy convenient meals that aren't too expensive when you're on a restrictive diet (kosher in my case). So I was really excited to see a reasonably priced vegan ramen. The broth is really delicious, and I was surprised how much protein this has. There aren't enough options out there for those of us on a tight budget, don't have time/energy to cook from scratch, and eat a meat-free (mostly in my case) diet, so this makes me happy. There is one downside however: The noodles themselves have an odd texture, kind of thick and maybe grainy, possibly for nutrition reasons? Not removing a star because it's inoffensive, and the taste of the broth makes up for it. It's probably also better to cook the noodles separately in a bowl for longer to make them softer and to avoid the plastic in the liner (in the microwave of course, let's not get too fancy here). ...Not that I bothered doing that. lol
The flavor of the soup is great. I like that this noodle cup seems to be made from actual ingredients, and so better for you for than the more artificial, cheap noodles. The only thing that was missing was the actual noodles need work- the texture/ taste are interesting, almost grainy.
it's got a decent flavor. noodles take a long time to soften. doesn't taste like chicken at all. it's alright. I probably wouldn't purchase again
Gross !! Had to just spit it out !! 🤢
I love chef Woo's other flavors of his protein Ramen however, the Gordon Ramsay collaborations are absolutely disgusting. I bought both the black garlic and beef and the chicken and mushroom and they both are very very bland within i love chef Woo's other flavors of his protein Ramen however, the Gordon Ramsay collaborations are absolutely disgusting. I bought both the black garlic and beef and the chicken and mushroom and they both are very very bland with an odd aftertaste even when I mixed it with bone broth that was the only way to add flavor definitely do not buy, but the other flavors by Chef are so good
This is the nastiest excuse for ramen I have EVER put in my mouth. I couldn't even finish it (and I was starving, having not eaten since breakfast seven hours ago.) I don't generally write reviews, but I sought this one out to warn the rest of you. The noodles had the texture of undercooked wheat pasta (regardless of how long I left them to steep) and ZERO flavor. The broth didn't do anything to save it, either. It had a weird, chemical kind of flavor and at the same time was incredibly bland. I care less about the wasted $1.88 than I do about having been put through the experience of trying to eat this. Absolute trash!!
So bad I threw it out. The noodles are super grainy and smell and taste like cardboard. The smell is so off-putting I couldn't finish it. I don't recommend in the slightest.
This is so bad, I really wanted to love it but no matter how long you let it sit to soften it is still a weird consistency, the flavor is not great also. Will never buy again.
Unfortunately this is the worst Ramen soup I've ever had. I even put a little extra water in it and the noodles were very spongy I ended up throwing it out
