Highly pigmented, just a few tiny dabs will cover your whole face. Jar lasts a long time. Wears beautifully with or without powder. Provides medium coverage, feels weightless on the skin. I'm not a huge fan of the scent, but it's light and it disappears, so I can live with that. Over all an excellent foundation, and economical if used sparingly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I have tried Shiseido foundation, but it will not be the last. This foundation has a soft fragrance, is exceptionally creamy, and works wonderfully for my very dry skin. It will replace my Elizabeth Arden foundation.

Don't understand why this is being discontinued......really the best since the original radiant lifting foundation, which was also discontinued and replaced with a worse version. Bring this back, please. Been using since it came out and it has great coverage. It really lasts a long time too.... Months.

For mature skin this is the best that I have found! I was using Radiant Lifting Foundation which they discontinued, and it made me so sad, as I was getting so many compliments on my skin, but i went in the store and asked what else I could use (after frantically trying so many others) and they put on this new futuristic foundation on me, and I was in love! Keep in mind a little dab will do Ya and by the way you're not also wasting product and yes i started getting compliments on my skin again!! Did I mention it's also buildable? Start small and build your way up to your liking the coverage is insane besides the glow it leaves! If you're on the fence go into the mall and get a Shiseido makeover, they have so many fantastic products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this foundation because the brand I had been using was no longer in production. As an older woman, I prefer this type of foundation and thought I had found the perfect one with my previous brand. To prep my skin I lightly moisturized and then also put on a light layer of primer. (Not Shiseido) Then I used a damp sponge to apply my Total Radiance Foundation. I was won over! Goes on so smoothly and does not settle into fine lines and wrinkles or pores. I found that a little goes a long way, and the little "spoon" added with the foundation is a great tool for stirring the foundation, and dotting it on my face for spreading with a sponge. Definitely worth trying if you are straddling the fence!

Love everything about this foundation except the packaging (why I took one star). The foundations is reach and an little goes a long way. It looks beautiful hours after application. Applying with fingers will give you light to medium coverage, brush medium and beauty blender high coverage. It does not crease and crack after hour of busy day. Highly recommend

Good coverage for imperfect skin. But they discontinued the best foundation they ever made..." PERFECT SMOOTHING COMPACT FOUNDATION ". Please bring that back. They replaced it with a very sub standard with at they called a replacement for the PERFECT SMOOTHING COMPACT FOUNDATION with "Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing " Custom Finish Powder Foundation, which is only 1/10 the quality of coverage and for the $30+ . The product was extremely disappointing. Thank goodness they did not discontinue this product I am reviewing.

I love this product. However, the container does not have the product color number on it. Now that Shiseido is removing their makeup line from stores I'm having to order multiple times and send them back as I can't figure out the match to my existing color. The online matching tool doesn't solve the problem. Write down your product numbers!!!!
