Works well for swimming. I currently swim 3,000 meters, and it stays secure throughout. I place it on the outside of my swim cap and listen to audiobooks as I swim. The first time I used it, the placement felt a bit awkward and I worried it might fall off. But I've now swum three times with it totaling 9,000 meters across freestyle and breaststroke and it's never come off. I rarely need to adjust it. I don't do flip turns, though, so I'm not sure how that might affect stability. On the software side, it functions like an external drive. Convert your audio files to MP3 format if needed, then drag and drop them onto the headphones just like you would with a USB thumb drive. To activate MP3 mode, turn on the headphones, press and hold the and – buttons simultaneously. Then press the 0 button on the opposite side to start playback. You can't stream audio from your phone while swimming—no device can do that, as the physics of water prevent it. Sound quality is excellent for underwater headphones. I've used many expensive in-ear models, and this one performs better. With in-ear, you have to stop swimming to readjust if they slip. This one is easy to adjust mid-swim without interfering with your stroke or disrupting your swim watch's lap and stroke count.
Works exactly as described. Except for one issue. Difficult to download music and transfer to SHOKZ OpenSwim Pro Headphones. Instructions are difficult to follow. Not Consumer Friendly.
Swimming is so much more enjoyable! I do swim workouts 4-5 days a week and these headphones keep me from focusing on counting laps and let me really enjoy the time in the water. The sound is great and you don't really feel the headphones on your head...and no, they do not move or fall off on flip turns. Couldn't recommend these more to folks who want to get a great swim workout in on a regualr basis!
I got these to use at the gym pool and maybe around the house. The brand is reputable and the app is good. The headphones work using bone induction and feels great! Kinda like magic, however no bass and the music profile isn't very diverse. I still use my shocks open ears around the house and AirPods Pro for airplane and out running errands. These excel in the water and I'm keeping them! U can use them to run too if you'd like as they are similar to shockz run pro
Excellent sound quality in the water.
It fits and feels really great. What it looks like it's made out of looks like better quality than the lower priced ones. The only thing I'd probably try to improve on is the sound quality. While it's good, it could always be better. Like maybe allowing it play louder volume wise and maybe more bass in the sound.
Compared to other head phones these are very overpriced. They were a summer work incentive/payment for a 15 year old boy who absolutely loves them. They hold a charge well because they are on his head all day long. I appreciated the open ear style so he could still hear other sounds around him.
The fit isn't as good as the regular aftershokz - batter isn't great and connecting is an issue.
fit is nice, but sound is terrible. There is no bass, so it's real tinny. Sounds like a cheap set of headphones from 40 years ago... might be find for talking on phone, i don't know, But for music they're very low quality
Battery dies to quick the older ones used to last for a couple of days being used multiple times.
