Wrong discription
This is a great receiver pin and lock, but the measurements are not correct and the description is wrong. You would sell lots more if you change it. This is a better pin and lock than Reece or other brands. The Reece will rust extremely bad in a short period of time. I had one years a go on another vehicle and when I sold it the pin and lock was as good as new. I looked for along time before finding these and was hesitant because of item description. I am very glad I disregarded and ordered it. VERY HAPPY

Sneaky way to use screwlock, without the hitch pin
Didn't order it for the hitch pin, just kept that for emergencies. Wanted the screwlock for the release lever on the hitch, where others use a common padlock. You have to spin the key 6-7 times to get it off the lever. Very easy for me , very difficult for a thief.

Good Lock, Good Deal
Lock is great. It stays out of the way for my security chain hooks. Pin is fine on standard 2" receiver. Pin is too short for 2-1/2" receiver (can't begin to get the lock in). The lock alone can be used on the tongue of the trailer so it cannot be unhooked from your hitch. Security, I think it's as secure as any other pin style lock. Gonna keep the honest people honest.
