A forgotten gem of the late seventies

Although essentially Jaws on land (only with a car and not a shark), it transcends its premise though a cast of great actors, script that makes you care about the victims, and really impressive cinematography that gives beautiful vistas of desert scenery. I had the DVD but the Blu-Ray is really a great upgrade in terms of visuals, as well as audio

The item is hard to find and WalMart was one of the few sellers I could find.

It's a good horror movie.

This is an underrated movie of the mid 70's about a demon car who drives around creating havoc on small town America. James Brolin is the lead actor along with a fine cast of actors to give this film a fine boost of high octane suspense and thriller. The Blue ray quality is very good and you'd be pleased with it's HD transfer to blue ray if you have the standard dvd already and this is an upgrade for sure! A fine movie to be watched on those late Friday or Saturday night movie hour. Buy it and you'd be glad you did!
