Showgirls (DVD)

its nice to see the unrated version as there is more too the story when you have to cut it to fit ratings i know why its done but its nice to see the film makers full idea what how the story was planned.

Good movie!!!

Brings back memories when I first watch this movie. Elizabeth Berkley is at her best in this movie and no one to mess around with.

I enjoyed the movie. It had been a while since I've seen it and forgot how good it was.

The movie showgirls was one of the worst films in 1995 when it was first released, especially because of the leading actress's rough, immature and non-genuine performances in the movie. Therefore, she was never ever been casted as a leading actress after this supposingly her biggest opportunity to become an A-list movie star, like Sharon Stone did back in 1992 for the movie "the basic instinct". The box office was also tanked mainly because of her performances and also the story line of the film. However, the DVD sells over the years did catch up for the production cost of the film. I only bought this DVD because of my love of Gina Gershon and her outstanding performance in this film. Also I'd love to see the red Ferrari she negotiated to buy at $10,000 then price, after the movie was finished filming, which she eventually sold in 2024 for a million big bucks after all those years of driving and enjoyment.
