Shredding Scissors

Have had these scissors for only 3 days and I love them. Some of the reviews that I read before purchasing complained that the scissors jammed and they were hard to clear the scraps of paper. I did not find this to be true. The first thing I shredded was address labels for my old address. Those labels are self sticking so I figured if these scissors worked this would be a good way to test them. Sometime paper shreds would jam the blades but I just used both hands to open and close the scissors and this cleared the blades without a struggle. I did not have to run anything between the blades to clear them. They cleaned very easily. This is probably the biggest workout these shredding scissors will get from me since I am keeping them in my kitchen drawer next to my trash can to shred mailing labels as soon as I bring in the mail. I cannot stand to let catalogs and miscellaneous mail accumulate. Previously I had used an ink roller but some computers make an indentation of the information that can be seen if tilted in the light. You won't have to be concerned about that with these scissors. Well worth the money.

I only have a few documents to shred from time to time. These scissors work great. Much better for small spaces too, rather than having a big shredder. Good quality and good price.

I love them. The best thing next to a paper shreeder.

These scissors are great for more than just crafting. I just made a card to for Spring, and used these for creating grass, and have also used these for making centers for flowers. But they are not just for crafting. I use these to cut up our mail that has our address on them; no more running to the office area to use the shredder - which is usually covered with papers. Love these four bladed scissors!

I bought these to cut up extra address labels I have received. They do cut but the sticky part of the labels stick to the cutting edge of the scissors.

The shipping was quick and the scissors were packaged well. Unfortunately, I'm a bit disappointed in the actual product. To begin, the scissors aren't sharp enough to cut through a small piece of paper folded over. Since the length of the blades and the number make it difficult to cut a strip the whole length, I've had to tear the page (8"x10") into thirds and then fold over each of those thirds. The scissors can't cut through and I'm not sure how to sharpen them since they didn't come with instructions on how to do so. Another issue is that the scissors get jammed with paper because the blades are so close together. One has to open and close them in rapid succession to clear stuck paper on ever third or fourth pass which quickly becomes a hassle. I was trying to find a manual option to securely declutter my papers while I watched television or listened to audiobooks. Instead, these scissors make the task more tedious than it should be. These scissors will do the job, but it won't be long before you're asking yourself why you didn't just buy that electronic monstrosity that does all the hard work for you. The price is adequate, but the product needs to be made to better standards. I don't even think taking the scissors apart to sharpen each blade individually would be possible.

The shredder scissors seem to be used. They are DULL. I can't cut through a doubled sheet of paper without it bunching up and jamming in the blades. In my opinion these have been used by another person and returned. In my opinion if a product such as this is returned it should never be put back on the shelf for someone else to find out they purchased a bad item. I'm disappointed in this product.

They do 1 cut, then all gets caught-up in the next one! Useless!

You need a strong hand to use these scissors. And, I could only cut one piece of paper at a time. I think I'll go back to my shredder ...........................
