These are the best protein puffs I have ever had. They have so much flavor in each puff. I thought the buffalo was to spicy for me but the taco ones are so good. They taste just like eating a taco. I don't just eat them by them selves. I have put them in soup and on salads. Oh and the caramel apple puff are like candy. You will not believe they are only 90 calories for the whole bag. Great way to get your protein for the day.

Full disclosure, this product was NOT for me…I ordered this product for my husband, who loves to work out, and eats various protein products to sublimate his nutrition at times. I had very little expectations for this product; it is cheaper than a similar product of a different brand that he eats, but says needs some refining. The shrewd Food protein puffs have exceeded my husbands expectations! Not only are they less expensive than what he was purchasing, they are also delicious (his words)! He has been eating them all week before he heads to the gym and will continue to purchase these. Great product; highly recommend!

These were so good. Way better than I expected. The taco ones taste like chili flavored corn chips to me. I loved it. Even my husband who can be picky really enjoyed them. They are super crunchy and full of flavor. Some people might find them a little dry but I think if you are searching for a crunchy snack while doing low carb these are perfect. I love the amount of protein and the low calories per bag. I’m able to just pop these in my husbands lunch and he is held over until dinner. We have tried other flavors too and they have all been awesome too. Even the sweet ones. I would definitely recommend.

I usually run into snacks with too many carbs, salt, preservatives, etc. Not with shrewd food's protein pus. There's few carbs, salt, preservatives. Any vegetables or seasonings used on it are from real sources. It tastes like a BURST OF TACO!! As a fast convenient way to snack at work or school, it’s ahead of its time, so flavorful & not bursting with bad ingredients. Of course, you have to stay hydrated drinking lots of water with them and still eat lots of fresh whole fruits & vegetables for a healthy nutritional diet. Keep in mind that each bag of puffs is small , barely 1 oz at 21 grams. About $2/bag is pricey, but for certain times when speed & munching are really needed, then it’s a good choice.2 I snacked on their caramel apple pie version of puffs too which was a BURST OF CARAMEL APPLE PIE!! I was surprised by the caramel apple pie version since sugar was not ahead in the list!

Great flavor and even better nutrition. They are nicely packaged and the design is pleasing to the eye. The puffs themself look great, taste great, but they are a little grainy textured.. it also breaks down in your mouth differently than other "puff" snacks. They stick to my teeth quite badly, and have a peculiar after taste, not bad, but noticable. I do enjoy them besides the fact that they are a bit grainy. And the added bonus of nutrition is nothing to skip over!!

I love the crunch of a good chip but these protein puffs give me that same satisfaction but with the added benefit of being loaded with protein. Much better for me but with some flavor as well.

I like trying new healthy snacks. Often, I feel like healthy snacks don't taste good with all the alternative ingredients they use, but sometimes they taste great. These did not taste great. They smell more like tacos than taste like tacos. They have a good, strong smell, so I was hopeful. They have a manufactured taste to me. The flavor is taco-like, as if someone made the flavors off of a description of what tacos are supposed to taste like, and not based on previous experience eating them. They are very salty, and that overwhelms the weak taco taste. They are hard and have a big crunch, so if you wear dentures or have dental sensitivities to texture, beware. Overall, I did not like these. I gave them 2 stars for effort, but there are better healthy snacks out there.

I didn't care for these at all.. I got the taco, chicken & caramel apple.. they were very hard, lacked flavor & not edible as a snack in my opinion.. I tried the taco crunched up in a salad almost like a croutons & still nothing on the flavor.. I won't be getting these again..

I usually like these type of things but these are terrible. They smell good but taste how I would imagine puffed wood shavings would taste like. I couldn't get it out of my mouth fast enough.
