Shudder - Skinamarink [BLU-RAY]

I pre-ordered this item the day it was put up on Walmart because I wanted the Steelbook edition of Skinamarink. Item arrived today and inside the package is the standard slipcover edition. I do like the look of the slipcover version of the movie, so as a collector I will probably keep it - but I'm not thrilled about ordering something and receiving an incorrect product. At the time of writing this review, this item listing still has "Steelbook" in the product title.

This is not a review on the movie itself, but rather the Walmart description. This is NOT a steelbook copy of the movie. It arrived in a normal blu ray case and sleeve. Still happy to own this, but Walmart definitely needs to change the description to fit the product.

I ordered the steelbook, but instead received a regular blu-ray case. After looking online, it appears some others have had the same issue after ordering this online as well.

Listing was originally for a Steelbook of the film, which I ordered while it was that. My order invoice says steelbook, confirmed multiple times before and after ordering. However I recieved a regular blu ray of the film. After pulling up the listing today after getting my order I see it has now been changed just to blu ray despite my order still saying steelbook. Severely Dissapointed.

Well it says STEELBOOK and you sent me a smashed up plain blu ray disc. This happened to many others on Reddit but a few actually did get a steelbook. So no clue what even happened with that but you sent me along with many others a plain blu ray when it clearly says online it's a steelbook. Definitely not happy and don't even wanna repurchase after I returned it cause it probably wouldn't be a steelbook.

Yea no save your money, if you think it's too good to be true to pay $14 for a STEELBOOK. It is. You're getting a standard blue ray in the mail because they over sold the steelbooks and decided to send people regular blue rays without mentioning it on the actual listing.

I didn't receive the Steelbook version, I received the standard edition of the movie. The movie was shipped in an envelope and it arrived damaged. So, even if Walmart had delivered the correct item, it would've arrived damaged. All physical media: CDs, movies and video game discs, need to be shipped in boxes. I feel so strongly about this as a collector that if offered at check out, I would pay extra to have my items shipped in a box! But now, I may never order physical media from Walmart again, exclusive steenboks or not. What's the point? If they're just going to arrive damaged when shipped in envelopes and not boxes. And did I mention that fragile items like Blu-rays and CDs need to be shipped in, I don't know, BOXES?!

For starters, the movie is phenomenal but I did not get what was listed. Instead of getting a Steelbook like is listed, I got a standard blu-ray with a slip cover. On top of that, the slip cover was damaged during shipping. Had I known I'd not be getting the Steelbook, I wouldn't have paid the 19 dollars for it and ordered a standard blu-ray.

Do not buy this if you're looking for the steelbook version. This is the standard blu-ray version. I pre-ordered this but I had to return it and place another order with the listing that specifically says "Walmart Exclusive". Walmart, please update this listing. It is incorrect.

Walmart really screwed this up. I ordered the steel-book and they sent me a regular blu-ray with the slip cover all messed up and torn. I can tell you 5 other people personally who had this exact something happen to them as well. I don't think the steelbook ever existed and now that the return process has taken almost a month, there is no hope of ever getting the now sold out steelbook. Shame on you wal-mart.
