Just what I needed.
This socket adapter is perfect for setting up Christmas decorations using the light fixture over my garage door. I can still use the light bulb, and have two "three pronged outlets." This is hard to find. Everywhere I looked, they have only "two prongs" for extensions.

Faulty light socket
Put it in the light socket on the front porch, put light bulb in and light doesn't work in it. However when I plugged my drop cord in it for my outdoor lights, thankfully they worked. So not sure why light bulb doesn't work. Even tried new one and still not working. I needed a 3 prong plug in for my drop cord that's why I ordered and I could leave it in year round, but I can't now. Will have to put it up with the Christmas lights.
