First the bad news. When we received it (very timely) the top had a slight imperfection. Also, it's rather time consuming to put together, but that's probably to be expected. The good news: I called the company and spoke with a lovely woman who was extremely helpful. I texted her a photo and she said they would send me a new top. Again, the top came in a timely manner (5 days). Instead of a new top, we got an entire console. Plan to give that away if we can find someone who wants it. You can't beat this company's customer service! And the console is very nice quality for the price we paid.
Assembly did take some time, about two hours with two people, but in the end, it was a really nice piece and matched the photos

Great for a small dining area in apartments. It's not exactly 52” - tiny bit less. I bought the matching dining table and chairs. Be patient with assembly- play some nice focus music- it helps keep you calm.
