Civ 6 seems to be little more than an expansion of civ 5. It seems the same in many respects. If anything the user interface may have become a slight bit more complicated. However, if you truly enjoy playing civ, then this should satiate you.

It won't work in steam

Walmart did their job just fine. The game itself isnt up to the standards of past Civ games. My last one was Civ 4, and I went back to it after a few playings of this.

Complex with nil user control on piece movement compared to simple minded, comparison to CIV3

My wife's laptop would run this for a few minutes...the laptop had plenty of processor and graphics power. But it got really hot. Maybe that's what crashed the game. Maybe the game is buggy. No way to tell. But there's no reason that a game in the Civilization series should require the same kind of graphics power that a first-person shooter does. She liked the game, but couldn't play it. Had to return. Kudos to Walmart for allowing that!
