Because it is almost impossible to find plain black cotton knee socks for women, I decided to try searching for girls' knee socks instead and scored with Sierra Socks. These socks are perfect. There is no toe seam and they actually come in sizes rather than the usual one-size-fits-all. Note, this is a lightweight cotton sock and not appropriate for winter wear unless you're looking for a fairly thin sock to wear with tight boots. You get three pairs for a very inexpensive price. I just went back to this company's website and bought wool knee high socks for winter and some for my son as well.

They shrank even more than I thought they would. Otherwise they are okay.

I'm petite- 6.5 shoe size, narrow calves. I purchased the medium. They're wearable but a little tight/small. The fabric isn't soft at all- it's a bit itchy, and pretty thin, and the threading is so stingy by the heel that I can see my skin.

FedEx was doing a much better job but now they are back to the crap they use to do. Stated they were delivered 8/5/24 and I still don't have them. I was home all day and I have a camera on the door. Where is the package??? It's 8/6/24 at 2 pm ???????
