I would recommend this little table. It's so pretty and so sturdy I downsize to a small apartment and it is just perfect.

Just what I've been looking for. Right size and height.

This is a nice looking table and works well. It's stylish and practical. It uses very little space and was exactly what my Mother needed.

I bought two of these. Both had the same problems. I kept them, and made them work, but only after a LOT of effort. First, the metal part is not really straight, meaning the marble top is a little crooked. I was able to carefully straighten out the flanges and get them straight. The bigger problem was with the heavy marble bases. The bottoms are not cut flat, and they both rocked badly. 1/16" of irregularity on the bottom translates to about an inch of wobble at the top- way too much to trust with a cup of coffee near your sofa. On top of that, the rubber pad was way too spongy, making the rocking worse, even on a hard floor. I ended up scraping off the rubber pads and actually grinding the bottom of the marble flat on a big piece of 220 sandpaper taped down to a flat, hard surface. I was able to get most of the irregularities out, and then used a self-adhesive pad in one area to build up the last spot that didn't make good contact with the floor. Both are now usable.
