Signature Design by Ashley Dinsmore Twin over Twin Bunk Bed in Black and Gray

Very sturdy. The height is perfect for my nephews to climb up. Be careful because the child has to go over the rail when climbing up; however, the perfect height, width and thickness of the bars gives me safe assurance the Dinsmore bunk beds would not fall over. My family sleep more comfortable every night and glad for the improvements for a better night sleep.

A week with bunk beds and so far so good. All parts were in tack and easy to setup. I would say sturdiness is a 8/10.. it's pretty sturdy but shakes some when getting in and out of bed.

…In my review I forgot to mention. That we have moved these beds (taken apart and put back together) several times and have never had any issues after. Also, my 12 year old son and 17 year old son does all the work in under an hour.

Bed is sturdy but they placed ridiculous stickers all over the visible side of footboard. It was nearly impossible to get it off.

If I had oodles or money or carpentry skills I would've bought or built a solid wood beds but, alas, this was the next best option. It's a very nice looking bunkbed. It was time consuming but easy to put together; no cussing or regretting our life choices. I knocked off a star because it could be sturdier. We have hardwood floors but I suspect that in a carpeted room, it might not rock so much when the top bunk kiddo climbs up to bed. Once again we circle back to money and this was the best in our price range.

The bunk bed seems solid and well made. The ladder steps are square instead of round, and are rather painful on feet to climb up and down. The entire upper bunk is surrounded with railing for safety reasons, yet it is difficult for smaller children to safely climb up and over the railing and get a foothold on the ladder. There should be some kind of opening near the ladder for easier access to and from. Overall, it's a good purchase, yet not perfectly designed for children's use.

Wish I had read the reviews before I purchased. Bed squeaks horribly! I can hear it across the house on the second floor. It's a beautiful design but not for light sleepers.

Looks nice, but the bed squeaks and is not very sturdy. The squeaking is so loud you can hear from the next room and it prevents my boys from sleeping. Nice design, but quality needs improvement.

Squeaks when kids roll over or move when asleep.. my kids are small (7yrs old 65 lbs and 5yrs old he is small for his size and weighs about 40 lbs)
