Signature Pullouts Single Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet in Chrome 470-DST

Delta has always been a good name but I really am not happy with the way this product works. I have not had it that long and it drips and is hard to turn off the faucet. I really do not recommend this product to purchase again.

I replaced an 18 year old Delta with this faucet in our kitchen. All faucets in our house are Delta and that will not change. Delta has always honored their lifetime guarantee for us with friendly and effective service when any repair parts were needed (very infrequently).

Like many earlier models of items of all kinds, my single handle faucet doesn't feel as substantial as my past model. It seems a little flimsier and the water stream and power is not as strong. Although my previous faucet lasted many years, I am not as confident about this latest white model. However, I would recommend the products. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Reduced water flow. Hard to adjust water temperature - either too hot or too cold. Base does not turn smoothly. May be overpriced.

The feature that sold me on this faucet was the location of the buttons for switching from spray to stream mode. Most faucets have the button(s) on the underside. When comparing the side mount buttons with under mount buttons on various faucets I found the side mount style to be more comfortable in my hand. The faucet has been in use for only a month now but I'm satisfied with the quality and performance so far.

Product works well as designed. The adjustable flow control for spray or stream is easy to use and the pull out extension is secure and versatile. My source for this faucet was a local plumbing contractor so the cost was quite expensive. Had it professionally installed and everything works great.

There are two major design flaws with this faucet. First, the single-handle control to switch from hot to cold has almost no middle ground. That is, it is tricky to get a mild temperature of the water...it is either very hot or too cold and the adjustment between the two temps is literally the slightest tap on the handle. I have inadverdently almost burned my hand because of this. Whatever valve controls the hot/cold mixture seems to be at fault. Secondly, the pull-out handle is much too long. It is quite awkward to maneuver it to spray around the sink. The handle would be much more convenient if the detachable sprayer were much shorter and the main body of the faucet were longer. My building superintendant installed this Delta faucet after my older unbranded faucet failed after more than 10 years. With Delta I was expecting a superior product considering the name recognition and how pricey it is. Very disappointed.

after 5 years, the faucet started to drip. the customer service and warranty were good. they sent me the replacement cartridge. simple to replace and now it's good as new.

The product came as expected and was easy to install. Works great. Thank you Delta. Didn't know it has a lifetime warranty. Saved me from buying a new faucet. Thanks again Delta.

this is a very good item and i would buy a few more if i had a use for them . the service is better than i had imagined it to be . all was said and done without any issues at all
