Sigvaris 412 High Tech 20-30 mmHg knee high socks aren't the same as the Sigvaris Traverse socks which are no longer available. My wife doesn't like the synthetic feel of the High Tech compared to the cotton-like feel of the Traverse, and won't wear these High Tech socks. I've tried them and while I don't mind the synthetic feel as much as my wife, I don't like the pinching at the top of the sock. So I won't be wearing them either.

I've been using Sigvaris compression socks for seven years and recommend them wholeheartedly. I bought one pair seven years ago to test them and the compression has not decreased. After the initial pair I subsequently purchased more and have no reason to change my positive impression.

I bought these in white last year and wore them ALL winter long. Very comfortable! Ordered new pair of white and a pair of black for this winter.
