I used this heat glue to repair a broken 1" thick baking stone. Worked great.

Time will tell
I purchased this high temp silicone to help with creating a mold for casting lead. This is not the intended use for this high temp RTV silicone, but I wanted to give it a try. What I can tell you is that it will take longer than 24 hrs to cure if you apply the silicone a little thick. About 1/4 inch thickness will require 72 hours to cure and solidify completely. As for heat tolerance, I will have to try and pour the hot lead which has a melting point of 650F degrees. Hopefully, it will hold up as lead cools quickly. Time will tell.

It came crushed, the silicone had oozed out of the tube and hardened. I tried to return but never got a response after attempt was made. Just gonna count it as a loss.
