SILENT Brass system trumpet

The mute works very well - in fact I was somewhat amazed how true the sound is when in use. The two settings are interesting - Rev1 sounds fairly normal, but Rev2 adds a lot of reverb, as if you're playing in a tiled bathroom. The mute produces a noticeable amount of backpressure - but really that's expected if you're trying to keep the external sound level as low as possible. My only complaint is not about the performance, but rather the quality of some of the components: - The plastic seems flimsy, and I wouldn't want to drop the control module (which they call the "Personal Studio"). The belt clip is not well-designed, and difficult to slip onto your belt or waist-band, because the opening is quite small and difficult to lift. I almost expect it to break off soon, as it seems very fragile. - The earbuds are marginal - but still produce a surprisingly decent sound. I recommend a good set of quality earbuds or headphones for regular use. So overall a very nice product, works well, and allows me to practice at times and in places where it would otherwise be impossible (or at least would disturb others a lot).
