Silhouette Cameo 5 Cutting Machine - Bianco Carrara

First it is beautiful!! I haven't had tome to set it up yet still using my Cameo . I love the Silhouette!!!

original cutter wasn't working. needed to purchase other cutters. seems to work now.

The machine is quite difficult to use and wasted alot of vinyl. The design is flawed. First, the machine loads the material at a reckless speed. Rolled vinyl instantly gets jammed when it's cut edge has a curve to it. Resulting in a loud and quite violent event as it's loaded. Secondly. the electrostatic mat is a joke. Your material will be moved around by the cutter head. resulting in a complete waste of time and materials. Thirdly, it just feels cheaply constructed. The mechanism that the roll vinyl feeds through instantly pops off at the first movement, useless. Its a cool idea that was under developed before widespread distribution. good luck elsewhere, T

I have never hated a cutting machine as much as I hate my new Cameo 4. It is the absolute biggest waste of money. The settings that work one day don't work the next or even 5 minutes later on the same sheet of paper! Silhouette even knows about these issues and instead of fixing the crappy machine they announce a new one coming soon.
