I purchased a cameo years ago for my daughter learned it and taught her. I decided I wanted a cutting machine almost purchased cricut then decided on the cameo 5 alpha had issue with blade on default settings for cardstock not cutting through right out the box. I reached out to customer service, which told me to buy another blade cause this one might be dull from what I was cutting on default settings it didn't cut through straight out of the box. Needless to say their customer service sucks. The right thing to do is send a replacement blade not expect me to spend dollars on one on a unit 1 week old.

There are very little to no setup instructions. In order to use SVG files which is the standard for this type of device you have to purchase a designer licence. Finally there is only 1 roller with an actuator on the left side so the sheet I attempted to cut just spun as it was cutting. Horrible experience topped by their incredibly frustrating website design to get the aforementioned software license.
