It works
I have an older Hobart Kitchen Aid, and while the cover will work, it's quite loose. I would say it more sits on the bowl than works as a lid. That being said, the price was good and it still serves its purpose. I don't regret purchasing the cover because it keeps the bowl clean which is what I was going for.

Does not fit snugly
It's far from air tight. Just sort of sits there. Would fall off if the bowl were tilted. It's good enough to keep dust off. I do like the removable and expandable center piece. It can go flat to accommodate more storage, or expand to allow room to keep on the mixer. The material is soft. Did well in the dishwasher. Overall, other than the loose fit, I really like it. That said, for storing accessories, fit is key. Hence my lower rating.
