i don't usually review things like milk but i had to this time. i love this milk so much. a weird thing to say, i know. but it's so much easier on my stomach than regular milk and has a closer consistency. it doesn't have a weird aftertaste or make your mouth feel oily. i use it in my matcha, and in cereal. but i'm 100% sure you could use it to replace regular milk in recipes too. genuinely, this milk is probably the best milk alternative i have ever tried. i don't think you can get closer than this.
This really does taste the closest to real cow's milk of all the dairy free milks out there, to me anyway. I've tried them all basically-soy, coconut, oat, banana, flax, hemp, etc. My favorite was flax without pea protein in it (that's gross in my opinion no matter what they put it in). But this one is great and very creamy. Tastes almost like melted ice cream. The first one that's good to have by itself. I highly recommend and so glad they are selling it locally as it's hard to find dairy free alternatives locally and too expensive to ship. Try this one today!!
This is the most amazing dairy milk alternative I've ever tasted! It tastes like a deliciously smooth glass of whole-fat dairy milk. I underwent a gastric bypass in 2004 and haven't been able to tolerate any kind of dairy fat and/or lactose since then. I'd always been a fanatical milk lover, so my inability to tolerate dairy post-surgery broke my heart. Even fat-free, lactose-free milk upset my altered digestive tract. I tried all of the milk substitutes (almond, soy, coconut, etc.), but none of them tasted like dairy milk. Honestly, I was hesitant at first to try Silk Nextmilk because the Silk brand hadn't previously produced any dairy 01substitute I liked. Voilà! All my dairy prayers have been answered. Silk has managed to combine plant-based ingredients into a milk that tastes exactly like dairy. In a taste test, I wouldn't be able to differentiate Nextmilk from dairy. It's been a godsend for me. I can eat cereal again after 18 years! I can eat a PB
Really Good! I've been drinking milk since I was a kid, but now have developed lactose intolerance. Been looking for a subsitute. Tried Silk, and it wasn't bad. Then I mixed in some Bosco, and WOW, this stuff is really good. Kind of like halfway between chocolate milk and a chocolate milkshake. Give it a try!
Been looking to find a milk alternative that doesn't have that much sugar added to it and is lactose free, plus has a good taste to it. This is by far the best I've found in years. As good, if not better than Fairlife, without the funny smell that Fairlife has. Don't think it tastes quite as good as regular 2% milk, but it has a good taste to it that taste pretty good with cereal at least. Haven't tried it yet with anything else. Price is about even with oat and almond milk. Used it for the 10 days that is recommended after opening and it didn't go bad in the refrigerator.
This milk has 3 grams of added cane sugar per cup! That's too much sugar, and I wouldn't have bought this milk if this info was listed. I also wish they'd get rid of the soy and use milk from peas, like Ripple milk, which tragically Walmart doesn't carry. I am giving it 3 stars for creaminess, but until Silk Nextmilk comes in an unsweetened version, unfortunately I won't be buying it anymore. And please, Walmart, add Unsweetened Vanilla Ripple milk to your stock, the best plant-based milk out there!
I couldn't get past the cheesy flavor in this plant based milk. I tried it in tea first because even the almond, coconut and soy milks all taste pretty good in teas. But I have yet to come across a plant based milk that tastes good in coffee- none of them do, and this one is pretty gross. I'm tired of wasting my money, even dry nonfat powdered milk is 100% better than this, so I'll stick to that for now. Very disappointing.
I've been using this plant-based milk for a while now, %26 it was the best substitute for coffee. However, the last time i got this, it curdled when i used it the first time. The exp. date is mid-November, so I'm not sure why it was already spoiled The time before, it curdled too. Not ordering again
Oat substitute. With plant base. Additives? This. Is not milk. Silk can never be considered as a milk substitute. It's horrible and I want to return it as soon as possible. I would have fathered full fat milk than this faux substitute. I was not given the opportunity to approve the alternatives that were made.
I'd like to give this a zero. It has nothing to do with the product itself but whoever filled the order and did not look at the expiration date. I picked this up on October 3. This milk expired on September 24.
