okay it's sauerkraut what more can you say it's sour it's cabbage it's pickled it's sauerkraut but it is a good sauerkraut usually the ones in the jars are a little too vinegary or they have that I don't know twist of taste that some people like but this is sauerkraut

This is the best sauerkraut you can buy next to making your own. It is yummy. It taste fine. Use it on hotdog. You can cook it with pork and sauerkraut. You can use it for anything and it is delicious and always good. I do like it better when it comes out of the jar and I do the plastic bags.

Apparently, fermented foods are very healthy for maintaining good intestinal flora. At 70, I am totally interested in eating right. Plus, I've been finding that I can add sauerkraut to so many dishes I already eat.

I used to buy the sourkrout in the bag but I think this way is better. I sometimes don't use it all at once so when I have the jar much easier to put in fridge. the bag always leaked

Buying fresh saurkraut means you have to eat a lot of hot dogs, or the saurkraut will go bad after a couple of weeks. With the Silver Floss saurkraut, it kept in the jar for a few months (refrigerated). The flavor and the odor were always very good.

This is the taste of sauerkraut that I grew up with. I put this on hot dogs, brats, polish dogs and with chops of all kinds. Good flavor, good quality and worth buying. With summertime cook outs and such I would buy the larger size. This size is about perfect for two.

Really like that this delicious sauerkraut is packed in a glass jar. Plastic is so dangerous when the food is acidic. This sauerkraut is crisp, clean tasting and deliciously paired with Polish Sausage coins. Great with butter whipped potatoes! Yumm-ee! So Walmart suggested I consider the following in my review: Juice--it certainly has juiciness but I am not brave enough to drink it straight. Tomatoes--Have never paired sauerkraut with tomatoes. Think it would be too much acid...heartburn. I'm sure it's good because I like both. Pizza -- Okay, once again, I am not brave enough to put sauerkraut on pizza.

This is my go-to sauerkraut for hot dogs and for Reuben sandwiches. It's tasty but not overpowering and the fact that it comes in a jar with a screw on lid makes it the one to buy.

I'm not usually a big fan of saurkraut. I'll have a little once in a while. I had a taste for it and gave this brand a try and I'm not sorry. Now I buy it a few times a year and enjoy it thoroughly. It's everything it should be.

If you like a tangy sauerkraut with a nice texture and flavor this one is okay. I bought this brand twice. 1st buy was great used on 6 to 8 Kielbasa (standard hot dog size). 2nd and last time was week of 3/25/26, I noticed a lot of liquid in the jar, I put 2 fork fulls on my Kielbasa and there was a lot of liquid. I thought that was strange because the last jar was not liquidy. I poured the liquid off and there was 1/4 jar left. I should have taken a picture when I first open the jar for comparison. The pic shows what was left NONE of the sauerkraut spilled out. Do NOT BUY they are cutting corners. If you want sauerkraut liquid then buy this otherwise eat great value brand.
