I recieved this about a week ago and it arrived on time and in perfect shape. The steel carriers are definitely a 2 person install into the receiver hitch, it can be assembled by 1 person though. If weight is an issue go with an aluminum carrier. It works beautifully and as designed. Have also purchased a hard rubber ramp to get the power chair off the porch, works great too.

I am so thankful I was able to make this purchase. The incredible ease of use. Pull a pin and lay it down, pull a handle and it unfolds, locks in place with ease. My pre-teen and teen daughters can load und unload my power wheelchair by themselves easily and safely. It just wasn't in my budget to get an electric/hydraulic system. I am so happy I chose this one. The extra long loading ramp is awesome. Once the middle wheels are on, it drives right up the ramp (that does require a very small amount of physically pushing (leaning on) the chair while using its controls to get those middle wheels engaged). But, once they're on the ramp, just use the wheelchair control and glide it right up. Seriously, best decision ever. I am NOT strong and I am able to do it all myself! So happy. One thing, o wasn't able to have the anti rattle part installed because of the design of my hitch receiver. This hasn't been a problem (as of yet anyway). The rack does tilt to the side when it is empty and upright. When I go over a bump or anything, it will rock back and forth slightly. I don't know what that means for the equipment over the long term. I'm thinking I may attach a couple bungee cords from the ramp to the rack on the roof to hopefully stabilize it more. The scooter cover is super heavy duty and fits all the way around the wheelchair to protect it from the elements. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone and everyone with a wheelchair. I purchased to have a carrier for my 375 lb Jazzy 4E power chair. This item is rated for 500 lbs. It is not designed for anything over 200 lbs. When my chair is loaded, the carrier drops to the ground on the backside of the base. It drags when going up any incline. That said, it seems well made, came with all parts and accessories and instructions on assembly and care. It should work for lightweight chairs and scooters.

If you follow the instructions and only use the spring pin on the main carrier tube, the carrier base wobbles like crazy, use a bolt and tighten as tight as you can get it. I also lost the double catch for the ramp on my first trip using the carrier, lucky I had a couple spare bungee cords to secure the ramp. There's no way to contact the manufacturer for" warranty "parts. You can "purchase" parts from discount ramps,ebay or walmart.com, but no warranty information. Really disappointed about that

No tracking info provided. After tightening all bolts, nuts, and screw, I still lost the blue dual two-pin locking assembly allowing ramp to drop to pavement while moving at highway speed. As a result, the ramp handhold and pin retaining plate were lost or ground down. To date no replacement or tracking info has been provided on replacement pin assembly or fix for lost ramp handhold and ground down retainer plate. Male customer service rep seems indifferent to issues.

It started to rust and the latching mechanism fell apart. I returned it and they are refunding my money.
