I don't use this as a toothpaste - I apply it to sore areas of my mouth after dental work. It is amazing at healing your mouth quickly.

I have used this toothpaste for a few years. I have been happy with it. A dental assisting instructor recommended it to me, and I have used it ever since. I have had good checkups. My mouth feels clean and fresh when I use it.

This the best toothgel on the market. Silver is a great antimicrobial.

Simply put, I don't think there is anything better for your teeth and gums. I have been using this tooth gel now for about four years. My dental check ups and cleanings have gotten better. My sister and I both have had them say they were going to fill a cavity and at first a root canal. Our dentist did not do any of the procedures and at one point after telling me that I should be using a fluoride tooth paste he turned back around and said you know just keep doing what you are doing because it seems to be working. I no longer have bleeding gums nor do I have cavities and I usually brush in the morning only unless I am going somewhere. I have turned several people on to this product and can tell you that even though it isn't cheap, it is worth every penny and may save you on dentist bills.

This company deserves high marks for making a very pleasant tooth gel with no fluoride. It seems to be the best on the market, so I am adding a star to my review. Since it's a gel instead of a toothpaste, you don't get that thick pasty effect. It does --not-- leave a coating on your teeth, which is why some people say their teeth don't feel clean. But that "fresh feeling" coating is actually unhealthy and prevents your teeth from constantly remineralizing. The product seems slightly watery or quick melting -- but I have used a gel (like Aim) before and knew what to expect. DO make sure that you quickly apply this to both sides of your mouth before you really begin brushing your teeth. I have used Silversol for more than a year now. Over time, I have decided that it actually is killing germs, despite the mild taste. I brush the entire inside of my mouth, not just my teeth. And it does kill that terrible morning Dragon Breath -- so I am sure now that it is working. Ingredients on the tube show: SilverSol Solution (deionized water and purified silver), xylitol, carbomer, TEA, natural coloring and peppermint oil. (No aloe vera, as someone else suggested) Positive ----------- fluoride free (YAY!) no stevia, which I hate no parabens no sodium laurel sulfate no artificial colors non-abrasive SilverSol solution contains xylitol (which doesn't harm teeth) mild glacial mint (peppermint oil) flavoring bpa-free tube Negative ------------ carbomer TEA (triethanolamine) natural coloring (ie from an undefined source, but it is actually clear) relatively expensive Size is 4 fl. oz. for around $10, and you have to use a little more than you'd expect, so the cost seems rather high. But there are so few fluoride free alternatives in the marketplace that I decided it was either this product, Activz silver dental gel (with the same ingredients and even higher price!), or homemade toothpaste. If you don't wish to concoct your own high priced toothpaste using coconut oil and other ingredients, this appears to be the best choice for now!

My dentist who I like a lot, does not use mercury or fluoride, and turned me on to this toothpaste. This is a gel and is different from traditional toothpaste. Since using it, I have had no canker sores, where before I had them at least once a month. This toothpaste leaves your teeth feeling very clean and they feel that way the next morning. It doesn't take a lot, so the tube lasts a long time.

Shop around before buying. The company makes great products in liquid form as well. Highly recommend that overall.
