Don't Miss This One
I bot this CD at my local Walmart on the strength of the single "Panic Switch," the cover art, and a weird dream I had about it. I had listened to samples on amazon.com, but they don't accurately convey the beauty of the songs once heard in their entirety. On first listen, the lyrics seem a bit harsh, and it takes a few times thru to wrap one's mind around them. Once you get a feel for it, Swoon has a sound that begs to be turned up loud. Overall, very original and pleasing to the ear. Also affordable at $9.

Excellent Alternative Rock
This cd combines haunting melodies, surges of emotion, pinpoint guitar riffs and accents. If you're familiar with the group Placebo, you'll notice a similarity in vocals and effect, with, however, a less jarring and more soothing presentation lyrically and melodically. Most of the songs are worthy of praise-- fora sustained success. The Walmart price was a great buy for under $10.
