Have used these for quite a while, they really do help clothes dry faster with less static and do actually seem to remove any lingering odors from the wash. They're great if you don't like perfumed products. Make great gifts. Highly recommended.

This is a set of six dryer balls with silver threads woven into the wool balls. They work like any other dryer ball, you simply toss them into the dryer with your wet stuff and shut the laundry room door to tamp down the noise. I tested these on a chunky knit blanket I keep on the bottom edge of my bed. I really love this blanket, however, it takes a really long time to dry. These dryer balls vastly reduced the amount of dryer time my blanket normally takes, and the process left the blanket very soft feeling. It might even be fluffier? It's not shocking me with static and I'm really happy with how well it turned out. Wow! An Eco friendly solution that happens to be very affordable. Hooray! The dryer balls worked great for me. I hope they work out just as great for you!

These do work as described. My laundry loads don't normally have any leftover odors, so I cannot attest to whether the silver threads help in that regard. The balls do soften my laundry without all the perfumed dryer sheets. I have a stack unit washer/dryer, which is somewhat smaller than typical units. So, I use 3 wool balls in the dryer instead of six.

I switched to wool dryer balls a while ago since a) I have to pay to do laundry in my apartment building and need to cut down on drying time, and b) after reading how horrible dryer sheets can be for certain clothes. My old dryer balls just got old/dirty, so needed a replacement and grabbed these. I love them! They definitely help with drying time, I think they help marginally with wrinkles and static (at least, they definitely do more than you'd achieve if you used nothing). If you want a little bit of extra scent in your laundry, you can add essential oils to the balls too!

I love these dryer balls. Sometimes I get busy and forget about the clothes in the dryer, but even after an overnight oh crud! moment and rushing to check the stuff in the dryer there is no odor from still damp clothes. They do cut the drying time in my not-so-new dryer too, so overall very happy with these.

So these actually work a lot better than my other wool ones when it comes to softness and static. So I'm assuming the silver threads actually work. Static is usually minimal although if I have a lot of cotton based laundry (towels, blankets, etc.), the load does come out a bit static-y. As for drying time, I feel like it is unchanged regardless if I used them or not. I do like these balls; however, I've had to fix the silver thread on a couple of them already because it was coming off. So I'm not sure on their durability since I've been using them only for a month. Only time will tell, I guess.

Been using these for almost a month now. Always leave all six balls in the drier for use. Have notided that they do seem to cut down on the dryer time and if you remove you clothes while warm there appears to be less wrinkles than without them. We are still adding a dryer sheet for most loads because we have 4 dogs and 2 cats and need the extra help to reduce the hair issues. Not sure if it is just the time of year but clothes and bedding still come out of the drier with built up static but it seems to be somewhat reduced.

We were a little concerned that these balls would leave lint/wool all over the clothes, but so far that has not been an issue at all. The clothes are coming out without static cling, dry, and softer than they would without the balls. So far, very happy with these.

This is the first time I used them and they do work. From my perspective , these are innovative but they do have some back draws. The silver comes out multiple times and it was a little hassle to fix them. The scent goes away after some uses but though you will get soft and wrinkle free clothes. When it comes to price, I think it will save your money because they are reusable. Overall, great quality and recommend product.

The dryer balls are a good size and weight, and seem well made. The entire purpose of them is the silver threads, which are supposed to provide additional cleaning/deodorizing of your clothes. Threads are already loose and coming off within 15 loads of laundry. I expected them to last longer.
