I've been using Similac Advance for my baby, and overall I'm very satisfied. It provides complete nutrition for the first year, and I like that it contains DHA for brain development and lutein for eye health. One thing that makes me feel better as a mom is that it has no palm olein oil and no artificial growth hormones. My baby tolerates it well, with no major tummy issues, and it mixes easily without clumps.
My child went from breast milk to this formula and it was such a smooth adjustment and she took so well to it digestive wise. I highly recommend this to any breastfeeding mom who needs to switch for whatever the reason. And comparing it to most other formulas it’s been shown to stand out and have better results.
Both of my children have used this formula from 5months to their current ages and I have had no issues! They love it, it’s easy on their little tummies and to see it isn’t on any list for being harmful to them; my children, I trust this brand and specific product greatly!
It's a great formula with perfect nutrients. It does have feed instructions on the back. My baby has sensitivity to some of the ingredients and caused fussiness, so it did not work for my child,
I always buy the package in the mesh bag lock instead of the plastic tube lock because when it’s opened sometimes the plastic tube dents the can when the cashiers unlock it. My daughter switched from the 365 one because this was much cheaper and she didn’t even notice. We saved a ton.
My biggest appreciation is Similac isn't all foamy when mixed like Enfamil. I can give it right away without waiting for the foam to go down or risking an extremely gassy baby. She also tolerates it so much better. I wish I had used Similac with my first child.
I Like the large Simmilac to give my 8months old daughter. It last longer than the smaller ones and since she goes to a babysitter during the day I can use the milk and put in her bottle to go with. I do not have to purchase any for a while cause I make this last.
After 5 babies, in 10 years, I’ve had to rely on formula occasionally and this one is the standard to start with. As long as baby doesn’t have an allergy you know of of course. But for 10 years this formula has been consistent in smell, texture, mixing ability, easily cleans without a smell or residue. It’s helped my babies be healthy and assured me of it. THAT’S what it’s meant for. Now the container may resemble an old school coffee can, but it’s better then the plastic tub they once had that didn’t always lock closed.
I realize our economy is struggling but the price for this 1 can is absurd. I go through 1 can in a week and like 2 days. Maybe I'm complying just to complain but it just really makes me sad that baby food is so outrageously expensive.
You guys raised the price and are making baby formula unaffordable. Parents need to buy this once a week at least. Get the price down. Thank you for your attention to this matter
