I'm new to the world of bottle feeding / formula in general so when I was told my baby suffered from acid reflux and needed to have dairy free formula, I tried a bunch of different brands! This one has worked wonders for him honestly, I feel like for how much it helps him it's absolutely worth the price. The size of these containers last for a pretty good amount of time as well (for my 5 month old anyways- we'll see when he gets a little older, he's a hungry little guy lol). This product has helped him gain and sustain the proper amount of weight as well which was initially an issue with his acid reflux!
We "discovered" this brand way too late. Our daughter has a milk protein allergy, so she's been on soy formula nearly her entire life to this point. We had been using another brand that has palm olein oil in it (should be easy to figure out which one....starts with an E). We thought this was normal. When there was apparently a nationwide shortage of the other brand, we switched to using Similac. We immediately noticed the difference, and how we believe Similac is better. That palm olein oil left a greasy residue in all of her bottles, so it took more effort to clean them. Similac doesn't use that oil, so now her bottles don't have that greasy residue left behind. I wish we had realized this sooner. Had we known, we would have been using Similac from the beginning. We only used that other brand because that's the brand the hospital used. We will be using Similac until she's done with formula
my daughter was transitioning from the regular formula to the soy and it was a pretty smooth transition. I've been struggling to find a formula that was good for her digestive system and one where she didn't throw up as much and wasn't as fussy from the gas. this seemed to be a remedy for that she seems to be lactose intolerant so this is a good choice.
Need fast and couldn't make a trip to the store. So we shipped it to her location a few states away and bam...it arrived at great speed and no problems
The best formula we've switched to so far my baby has a dairy allergy and this has been the only thing that's helped until she can start back on breastmilk
The soy formula allows our baby to get all the nutrients needed for his growth and we do not have to worry about upsetting his stomach like other lactose formulas.
My baby has cow milk, oat and wheat allergies and she kept getting allergic reactions to other brands with hidden ingredients with them three she likes the taste she's consistently wanting it and not getting sick.
we'll been through a recall and this wasn't on the list, safety study showed this one the safest plant based formula, though it was near one limit. overall, baby likes it, she had milk formula and breat milk before, she's not picky i guess, but i did notice her diaper doesn't smell as bad as with the milk formula, her tummy is happy, she rarely had painful gas, with used lansinoh bottles, those are for breastfeed babies and continued using them after she was formula fed only, so it might be a factor, still, she might be an easier baby about that, but i think this formula was also a factor only because her tummy apparently had an easier time
Baby formula is one of my top priorities, and Walmart is the place where it's always available. Unlike other stores, Walmart has all its products in stock, and that's something I wouldn't trade for anything—the peace of mind of knowing that what I need will always be available.
Soy formula is decent choice for babies experiencing milk allergies or a lot of reflex from eating dairy formula. Using this instead of dairy formulas has allowed our baby to sleep and be less fussy and a no more painful spit up. If your baby is suffering from reflux where after they eat, they constantly throw up what looks like cottage cheese spit up and cry a lot and no amount a soothing really helps. I highly suggest moving them to a non-dairy formula.
