Good size for our household. I cook most things from scratch so have large volume of peelings and bones, etc. and this can easily handle two or more days worth. Handy slot in the removable inner container keeps bag in place instead of slipping down into the compost like previous bin. Study. The self-closing lid is a great feature.

I use this can for diapers. It looks nice in the nursery and is large enough to hold a few days worth of diapers for my toddler. It seems to contain the smell pretty well too. I love the soft silent close and the foot pedal. I also love that it's all stainless steel- looks so much better than plastic.

First and foremost, Great Customer service! Purchased our first Simple Human trash can for the bathroom because of it's perfect size. Many years and hundreds of openings until it finally wore out. Contacted Simple Human customer service and after determining the can was still within warranty the replaced it in kind! Thank you.

I love it! It's not too big or small. It's easy to clean. However don't use strong cleaning products such as Lysol toilet cleaners because it will ruin the stainless steel. Also clean inside the foot step to open the trash can properly because it gets dirty in there. It looks great in my bathroom and I get compliments all the time.

I broke the lid on the same can I have had for 10 years. That's the only reason I bought another. The size is perfect for two people's needs. I change the bag daily in the kitchen and no smells. And it looks nice...clean, unobtrusive, and functional. I order a case of bags annually. No shipping cost. What more could a senior citizen ask?

I ended returning then… they're narrow, look smaller in person and the lid doesn't open all the way.., instead of paying $50 for each of these, I bought ones from Target for $20
