simplehuman 12 Gallon Semi-Round Sensor Trash Can with Liner Pocket, Brushed Stainless Steel

I've had one for 5 yrs and wouldn't be wouldn't be without one. This is my second simple human garbage can. The appropriate bags are large and well worth the cost. I highly recommend getting this combo.

We've had the older version of this can for a number of years and it finally died. Unfortunately, Simpehuman no longer carries the replacement lids. Ordered a new one and really like the upgrades that they have done. Storage area on the back of the can for a pack of trash bags as well as an included deodorizer that attaches to the underside of the can's lid. Better sensor reader and definitely quieter than the old can. Good job!

My first was bought 4 years ago and we quickly developed a wonderful friendship! Always knows when I'm there (sensor) and ready and willing to help when my hands are full. After 4 years of continuous use, there was a problem and the lid wouldn't raise. I contacted Simple Human for help and they were helpful, expedient, supportive and within days after a few emails to clarify what might be the issue…I was shipped a brand new one as there was a 5 year warranty upon purchase that I didn't know about! I will forever use this brand for its products and services and excellent customer care and support. Quality that lasts. And we're better than ever …again!

This is a well-designed and high-quality trash can. The sensor works quickly, the lid operates smoothly, and the overall build feels sturdy and premium. It looks great in the kitchen and has been a pleasure to use. I'm very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely love the sensor can. We cook quite a bit; easy access to the can via the sensor style has made cleanup a joy. Why? Eliminating manually opening a lid is one less repetitive action and that makes a difference. The can STAYS CLEAN. No foot pedal to clean. We do not like the replacement bag opening because it can allow odors to escape; the scented stick ons exacerbated that issue. We eliminated the stick on and the issue was much better. We therefore prefer a separate storage location for the bags. Thanks for the touch-less can; we love it.

Might seem strange to say that you “love“ your trashcan, but we do. When your hands are full or messy and you don't wanna touch anything, it's great to have the sensor opening the lid. Also, the bags fit perfectly inside, never a mess nor a bad odor. This is the third one we've purchased?

This trashcan, with the sensor, looks nice and is so easy to use when you have your hands full! I can't recommend it enough. My last simple human trashcan lasted more than 20 years and it definitely has more life left in it – it was just time for one that was in dented and now had the sensor in it. Love, simple human products!

Purchased this Can for the Flybridge on our boat!. It fits perfectly in-between the seating with the slim shape. Don't let the size fool you! It hold a lot of trash We love the sensor lid, so easy to use and we get a lot of compliments! Happy Sailing

I owned a 13 gallon garbage can from simplehuman for close to ten years. It took a beating when my kids were born and kept working for many years to come. When it finally stopped working, I didn't hesitate to buy another one. Thanks for the solid product.

This is a replacement for one I purchased 8 years ago. I love this model of Sensor Can. I have noticed the new one is a little slower to respond. The sensor may just be directed in different direction, and take a little getting use to. Thank you for a wonderful product.
